Another review by happy customer: "We recently tried out the Light Hand for the first time during a trail ride (following recommendations to include plenty of straight-line riding). We had no issues with acceptance, and the horse relaxed in the canter like never before. Overall, I've noticed a significant improvement in the quality of cooperation between me and my horse in the canter, which used to be problematic due to my hand not always cooperating as it should. As a recreational rider who is aware of my shortcomings and limitations, I appreciate the ability to use this "device" that aids in communicating with the horse, reducing unnecessary pain and discomfort for the animal. I'm also pleasantly surprised that despite the Light Hand bit being gentler in the horse's mouth, I didn't feel less control or any loss of previous maneuverability, especially considering the debut occurred on the trail, and my horse is known to be quite spirited. Regarding my own feelings, I have the impression that this device perfectly highlights moments when the rider's hand doesn't sync with the horse's head movement – but now, instead of delivering a harsh correction, it's cushioned by the Light Hand. Personally, I have no regrets about the purchase and highly recommend it!"
