They are reconstructions XIV-XV cases for wax tablets, cards and not only that in our times (a pack of ci******es or smartphone fits perfectly)
Decorated with a hand pressed motive completely manual
adequate to the late Middle Ages. Made of naturally tanned bovine leather (2-2,5 mm) hand sewn with linen thread and glued with bone glue as in middleages. boiled in naturall wax for waterproofness and hardness.
