People love ❤️ to connect the dots, find patterns, dependencies and orderly structure things so no wonder giving up on WBS is hard. Just think of the amount of time it takes to maintain it!? Yet, some folks are going to spend hours for things to look organized, nothing was accomplished but at least plan/structure/architecture is up to date.

Dean Leffingwell can be proud, that Scaled Agile concept he introduced in 2009 was adopted by companies such as Cisco, the LEGO Group, Barclays and many others. Probably it makes sense that Agile at scale is adopted by big corporations (considering that they are the ones which have multiple products with multiple teams across multiple locations).

What SAFe adoption can do for your organisation? All what every regular corpo Joe wants:
1️⃣ Economies of scale (read lower costs);
2️⃣ Increase in productivity (read lower costs);
3️⃣ Waste/defect reduction (read lower costs).

User Experience and User Interface is something which has probably [this is a disclaimer 😎] more in common with cocaine👃 and mind reading 🔮than with process and efficiency.

But, if you talk to people who know a bit more than just how to create icons, such as Ann Datsenko, you will see that UX/UI is a highly organized function within the company and if you:
1️⃣ Make a user flow (user journey will become a park walk rather than maze run);
2️⃣ Introduce feedback loop (extra information doesn’t hurt);
3️⃣ Document everything (you can imagine being a captain on exploration expedition).

Product you work on will more likely cause “wow!” moment rather than “WTF” effect.
