FLORO was designed so that a playground can work harmoniously with its surroundings.

Plant-inspired forms, a subtle colour palette and transparent elements allow the equipment to blend naturally into the greenery of a park or residential development. At the same time, light passing through the flowers and leaves creates colourful reflections that change with the position of the sun.

For designers, this adds another interesting dimension. It is not only the layout of functions that matters, but also the orientation of the equipment in relation to light and its surroundings.

FLORO combines this visual effect with active play, climbing and the discovery of different routes.

A small element can completely change the way equipment is used.
LUMO discs respond to movement with light. A child sets them in motion and immediately sees the effect. This interaction encourages experimentation, supports hand-eye coordination and naturally demonstrates the relationship between an action and the equipment's response.
LUMO is used across various Inter Play products. In the LUMO PLAY series, the concept has been expanded with light, sound and additional control options.
The LUMO PLAY app allows the equipment to connect to a smartphone via Bluetooth and control features such as music, lighting and volume. Users can also play their own music, while administrator settings make it possible to adapt how the equipment works to the time of day and the character of the space.
Tornado LUMO PLAY is a good example of how a familiar roundabout form can gain an entirely new dimension of play. Movement, light and sound work together to create a more engaging experience without imposing one specific way of using the equipment.

TEGELO 5 is an excellent example of our approach to playground equipment design. It shows how many functions can be combined in one relatively compact structure.

The playhouse creates space for role play. The tunnel encourages exploration and movement between different zones. The inclined element with handholds adds physical activity and another challenge. The whole design is tied together by a forest theme that gives children a clear starting point for creating their own stories.

This multifunctionality was exactly what attracted attention at the trade fair. One playset can support movement, communication, shared play and imagination without imposing a single scenario.

When planning the space, the position of the equipment and its safety zone should of course be adapted to the specific site and the model documentation.

🐾 Contemporary recreational spaces increasingly respond not only to the needs of children and adults, but also to dog owners.
DOG AGILITY makes it possible to create a separate activity zone with tunnels, passages and obstacles that encourage dogs and their owners to move together. The equipment is not made of wood. Durable HDPE panels are used in selected elements. In public spaces, attractive design is only one factor. Durability, easy maintenance and resistance to intensive use are equally important.
When planning a dog park, it is worth looking at the space more broadly: access routes, the layout of activity paths, resting areas and a clear separation from children's playgrounds.
A well-designed dog park becomes a genuine part of the recreational programme of a residential development or park, rather than just an addition to the site.

Do you know what special gift visitors to our stand received at GaLaBau? 🎨

Although the fair is over, we still enjoy looking back on our conversations and meetings with you. Today, we’d also like to share the story behind a special gift our team prepared — a bag with a story to tell.

Each design features playgrounds seen through the eyes of our employees’ children. In an internal art competition, we invited them to draw their own dream playground. An independent jury 😊 selected several of their wonderful creations, which we then printed on the bags. And the bags were of course filled with delicious local treats, too! 🍬

That’s how these children’s ideas travelled from our stand out into the world. We hope the bags now join you on your everyday adventures, adding a little colour to your shopping, essentials and whatever else you need to carry. 😊

Did you get one of our bags? Share a photo in the comments and show us which design you took home! 📸

SFERO once again caught the attention of trade fair visitors. First the SPACE theme at FSB in Cologne, now the FOREST theme at GaLaBau. 🌿🚀

It is a good example of how one recognisable form can work in two completely different design directions.

SFERO SPACE gives the space a futuristic character. SFERO FOREST uses nature-inspired motifs and works well in projects where the relationship between the equipment and greenery is important.

For architects, however, choosing the visual style is only the starting point. The scale of the playset, play functions, available space and user group are equally important.

💻 Are you designing a playground and want to quickly check which equipment will fit into the available space?

With Inter Play Studio, a free online playground planner, you can create a clear concept for the entire area, not just select individual pieces of equipment.
Define the site using its dimensions or upload a map, then use drag & drop to arrange playground equipment, inclusive solutions, trampolines, sports equipment, site furnishings, surfacing and greenery.

While designing, you can check safety zones, dimensions and the total area, then review your concept in 2D and 3D. In the 3D view, you can also add adults, children and dogs to better illustrate the scale of the project and how the space can be used.

Once your concept is ready, generate a PDF with the project and a list of the selected equipment, ready to discuss with an investor, client or project team.
Free. Online. No software installation required.

🏠 A playhouse on a playground can be more than just a place to hide.
TEGELO 3 creates a space where role play is combined with sensory activities. Windows and moving elements encourage children to touch and observe. The game panel and tunnel invite them to manipulate elements and create their own play scenarios.
This is a calmer form of activity. It complements running, climbing and sliding. It creates space for conversation and shared play. It also encourages experimentation and discovering how the individual elements work.
TEGELO 3 is particularly well suited to areas for younger children, at preschools, in residential developments and in parks. In these places, a playground should offer a variety of stimuli and different ways to play.
