Before you buy more home decor…

Try this first—it might change everything.

1. Declutter your space first.

Let go of anything that’s unused, unloved, or no longer reflects you.

Clear space = clear vision.

2. Look at what you chose to keep.

What do you love about these items?

What do they say about your taste, your story, your values?

3. Reassess with fresh eyes.

Now that your space is clearer, do you still feel the need to add more?

Or are you already closer to the look you wanted?

4. Shop with intention.

If you do choose to buy, you’ll know exactly what suits your space—and why.

No impulse buys. No regrets.

5. Let your home tell your story.

Every piece should feel like you.

If it doesn’t? It probably doesn’t belong.

Your home doesn’t need more stuff.

It needs more you.

Follow for more purposeful home tips.

Let’s unyoke your space—together.

Ready for Spring but your wardrobe isn’t? Try this for a smoother transition:

➡️ 1: Remove the thick and heavy items: First things first, grab those really thick and bulky winter items like your warmest sweaters, heavy coats, and cozy loungewear. Pack them away for now to free up space.

➡️ 2: Layer Up Lightly: Bring out a few versatile layering pieces perfect for spring’s in-between weather. Think blazers, cardigans, and lightweight jackets. These will be your go-to for adding warmth without being too heavy.

➡️ 3: Introduce Brighter Blouses and Layer-Friendly Dresses: Now’s the time to bring in your brighter-colored blouses and long dresses. Think about how you can layer these – a cardigan over a dress, or a light jacket over a blouse. Having these out and visible will give you more spring outfit options.

➡️ 4: Easy-Reach Rotation: Give your closet a quick switch-up. Move your cooler items to the front where you can easily see them. Push your warmer, purely winter items further back or onto higher shelves.

➡️ 5: Gradual Warm-Weather Swap: As the days get warmer, you can start swapping out those long sleeves for t-shirts and tank tops, and your trousers for shorts or skirts. It’s a gradual process, no need to do it all at once!

I visited Milan Design Week recently and it made me realise something. Sometimes, seeing something amazing makes us feel intimidated instead of inspired. Seeing creativity and beauty isn’t meant to make us feel like we’re behind—it’s meant to show us what’s possible.
Let the gap between where you are and where you want to be pull you forward, not down. Let’s admire, let’s be in awe. Be inspired.

If you’re tired of thinking, ‘My home will never look like that,’ it’s time to dig a little deeper. What would a calmer, more organised space truly mean to you?

Here’s a practical way to discover your personal organising style:

Name Your Values
What’s truly important to you? Connection? Peace? Simplicity? Creativity?

Connect Your Values to Your Space
Consider how your home’s organisation can reflect your values. For simplicity, that might be decluttering. For connection, a cozy conversation area. For peace & calm, maybe a ‘no-phone-zone’? For creativity, a dedicated project space.

Be You
Don’t try to recreate an Instagram pantry or copy someone else’s style. Infuse your own character and personality into your space. What reflects your unique tastes and preferences?

Make Small, Intentional Changes
Start with one small area and organise it with your values in mind. Notice how it feels. This will guide you in finding a natural, sustainable organising style that makes your home uniquely yours.

“The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are.” - Joseph Campbell

Here’s to creating more space for what lasts, and less for what doesn’t.

Ever feel like you’re juggling a million things at once? Like you’re constantly switching between tasks, feeling overwhelmed, and never fully present in any one moment? Yeah, me too. 🙋‍♀️

Lately, I’ve been trying to be more intentional about how I spend my time and attention. It’s not easy, but I’m finding that even small changes can make a big difference.

Here are a few things I’m trying:
* Making Time for Stillness: I’m trying daily  to find a moment to myself, without distractions. I use this time to ground my thoughts and emotions, pray and shift my mindset. Even 5-10 minutes can make such a big difference and helps shift my perspective.
* One Thing at a Time: Instead of trying to do everything at once, I’m focusing on the most important tasks and tackling them one at a time.
* Prioritise Connection: I’m working on creating clear boundaries between work, family, and personal time. It’s a work in progress, but I feel this is so important. It takes training and discipline to really put our phones away and give our full attention and engagement when spending time with our loved ones.
* Turn off non-essential notifications: I’ve turned off non-essential notifications on most apps on my phone (makes such a difference!)
* Simplifying & Decluttering: I regularly clear out clutter and non-essential items from my home. Keeping a simplified, organised home helps me maintain a calmer household.
* Slowing Down: This is perhaps the most challenging, but also the most rewarding. I’m trying to rush less, slow my mind down and savour the little moments, to be present with my family and friends, and to appreciate the simple things in life.

I’ve come to realise that true productivity isn’t always about doing more; maybe it’s about doing less, but doing what really matters, and doing it well.
I’m hoping we can all find the sweet spot where productivity, intentionality and significance meet.

Sending you love and encouragement 🫶
