Nasz Regiment jest grupą przyjaciół z całej Polski, którzy zajmują się rekonstrukcją wojskowości i obyczajowości polskiej ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem pierwszej połowy XVII wieku. W naszych szeregach znajdują się odtwórcy autoramentu zachodniego, który występował w ówczesnej Polsce obok autoramentu narodowego. w ramach przygotowań części polskich rekonstruktorów do wyjazdu do twierdzy Palmanova,
w której to powstanie Rebel Regimentu zostało przypieczętowane i hucznie uczczone. Rebel Regiment zrzesza w sobie przedstawicieli kilkunastu grup rekonstrukcyjnych jak i "wolnych strzelców" mieszkających w Polsce, Czechach, Białorusi, Anglii i nie tylko chcących łączyć się pod wspólnym sztandarem na zagranicznych imprezach rekonstrukcyjnych związanych z XVII wiekiem. Główną osią naszych zainteresowań jest piechota i na ten rodzaj wojsk stawiamy z racji na realia współczesnych inscenizacji. Nadrzędnym celem jaki sobie postawiliśmy oprócz wspólnych wyjazdów na imprezy zagraniczne gdzie z kolegami z innych grup chcemy reprezentować polską kulturę jak i wojskowość jest rzetelna rekonstrukcja kultury materialnej Rzeczypospolitej Obojga Narodów. Nasza XVII wieczna kultura-kraju na styku wschodu i zachodu jest na tyle unikalna i różnorodna w skali Europy, że solidne jej przedstawienie mieszkańcom innych krajów jest dla nas bardzo ważnym- choć wielce wymagającym - wyzwaniem. Oprócz ważnych zadań jesteśmy po prostu grupą ludzi, która dobrze czuje się w swoim towarzystwie, a że trudno nam usiedzieć w miejscu i każdy z nas ma w sobie trochę z awanturnika zdecydowaliśmy połączyć swoje siły i z polską historią ruszyć w świat gdy tylko usłyszymy werbel jakiegoś zagranicznego werbownika . Gdy trzeba jesteśmy poważni, gdy nie, śmiejemy się do rozpuku. Na polu bitwy każdego nakarmimy naszą stalą, a w obozie z radością ugościmy przy naszym stole. Zatem gdy zobaczysz nasze chorągwie naprzeciwko siebie na polu bitwy mocno trzymaj pikę i dobrze celuj z muszkietu bo nie będziesz miał z nami łatwej przeprawy, jednakże gdy nasze sztandary powiewają nad namiotami w obozie to bież ku nam gdzie poznasz znaczenie legendarnej polskiej gościnności . Our regiment is a group of friends from whole Poland who are involved in the reconstruction of the Polish military tradition and customs with a special emphasis on the first half of the 17th century. In our ranks, there are people reenacting the Western contingent. The Rebel Regiment was founded in 2014 as part of preparations made by some Polish reenactors to go on a trip to the Palmanova fortress where the founding of the Rebel Regiment was sealed and pompously celebrated. The Rebel Regiment associates representatives of a dozen of reenactment groups as well as “free shooters” living in Poland, Czechia, Belarusia, England and not only here, willing to unite under a common banner at foreign reenactment events related to the 17th century. The main axis of our interest is infantry and we focus on this type of troops with regard to the reality of the contemporary staging. The overriding aim which we set ourselves in addition to joint trips to foreign events where, with friends from other groups, we want to represent the Polish culture and military tradition is to reenact fairly the material culture of the Commonwealth of Two Nations. Our 17th –century culture of a country where the East meets the West is so unique and varied on the European scale that presenting it solidly to the inhabitants of other countries is a very important, albeit very demanding, challenge for us. In addition to important tasks we are just a group of people who feel good in each other’s company and as we have itchy feet and each of us has a bit of an adventurer within himself, we decided to join our forces and embark on a world journey taking Polish history with us immediately when we hear the drum roll of a foreign recruiting officer. If the situation demands, we are serious when not, we roar with laughter. On the battlefield, we will feed everyone with our steel and in the camp, we will be happy to feast you at our table. Therefore, when you see our banners in front of you on the battlefield, hold your pike tight and aim the musket true because you will have tough work with us, however, when our flags wave in the air above the tents in the camp, then run towards us where you will get to know the meaning of the legendary Polish hospitality.
