SCHOOL DESCRIPTION

The Bilingual Department of Hanlin was established in 2012. In February 2019, we were authorized as an IB World School. We currently offer the Primary Years Programme [PYP]. At Hanlin we believe in merging traditional Chinese values and beliefs with different perspectives from around the world, to create globally minded citizens who have a strong sense of identity.

Our language of instruction is Mandarin, yet we place a strong emphasis on our second language, English. English is taught by both international and local teachers. Our international teaching team is diverse, boasting 12 different nationalities.

We are a rapidly growing school, therefore need open-minded and experienced teachers to join our team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Working as an English as an Additional Language (EAL) Teacher, within the IB PYP context.
Develop lesson plans and learning engagements in line with IB philosophies and our own curriculum objectives.
Work collaboratively with homeroom, single subject and other support teachers to help children develop holistically.
Develop and maintain a positive learning environment.
Plan, prepare and present lessons that cater for the needs of the whole range of abilities.
Support and engage students to take part in additional activities (International Day, CCTV Speaking competitions, sports day, football tournaments, etc.)



REQUIREMENTS

• Commitment to the holistic education of children.
• Care, patience, perseverance and positivity.
• IB experience is ideal but not essential.


HOLIDAYS

• Chinese Spring festival (around 4 weeks), summer vacation (around 7 weeks), October holiday (1 week), and other national holidays.

PACKAGE

Great news for Importers ! !

Brazilian Foreign Chamber of Trade (Camex) is lowering the import tariff on 229 products, from which 220 are being capital goods (machinery and production equipment) and 9 are computer goods.

Import duty will be reduced from 16% to 2-4% by the end of 2013.
Sectors mostly influenced by the new arrangement are: oil, services, and rail construction.

Itens foram incluídos no regime de ex-tarifários, que não têm produção local. Com resolução da Camex, imposto cai de até 16% para 2% a 4% até 2013.
