In which business sectors are Millennial and Gen Z generations standing out around the world? In many, actually.

In these 5 minutes I’ll tell you about 3 sectors where there’s a strong presence of Puerto Rican talent, but that aren’t taken seriously locally. Meanwhile, in other countries, because they take them seriously, they become prosperous sectors for the new generations. Just check Time Magazine’s list of the 100 Most Influential Companies.

Today in the workshop we're assembling the Mary Our Queen Holy Rosary… and blue is everywhere 💙. Just look at how beautiful it looks in the photo!

Have you ever wondered why blue became associated with the Virgin Mary?

It was not a formal decision by the Church. It was a tradition that began in Christian art. In the Middle Ages, ultramarine blue (made from lapis lazuli) was one of the most expensive pigments that existed, even more valuable than gold. Artists reserved it for the most important figures. Painting Mary with a blue mantle was a way of honoring her as Queen of Heaven.

Over time, that representation became established and the Church embraced it. Today, when we see Mary in blue, we remember her heavenly royalty and that motherhood that covers us.

These blue crystals will become part of our Mary Our Queen Holy Rosary.

The topic of Germany’s deindustrialization 🇩🇪 is complex, but Puerto Rico needs to follow it closely 👀🇵🇷. Precisely because we’ve already gone through this. And we have a lot to learn to avoid going through another deindustrialization like the one we experienced in the 1990s-2000s. Many in Puerto Rico called it the “Exit of the Section 936 Companies.” The reality is that that story is incomplete 😱. Here’s why.

Did you ever imagine a Catholic talking about international industries 🇻🇦🏭🌎? For many years, professionals from the People of God in the fields of economics and commerce didn’t dare to speak about the topics that affect us every day for fear of being labeled as “mundane”.

But yesterday in the Gospel, Jesus said it very clearly: “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s and to God the things that are God’s.” It’s not about abandoning one thing for the other. It’s about putting them in their proper place.

Imagine if the teachings of Jesus were more present in our workplaces and in the places where the decisions that make the world turn are made 🙏. How different things would be, right? We’re seeing it today in France, unfortunately.

And we will continue to see how much the world needs God. I can assure you that 🌎✝️.

Sorry for the slip-up 😰🫣! I haven’t shared photos from our last 2 international trade segments on Notiséis WIPR with . Since they happened around the CMN International Trade Show and we were super busy with the preparations, the trip ✈️… and then with the return and starting to ship the orders placed at the trade show… there wasn’t even time to share photos.

But stay tuned, because today we’re going to share the segment from the week before last, which was mega interesting. So much so that other expert colleagues wrote to me on LinkedIn sending their congratulations. It’s about the deindustrialization of Germany 😱🇩🇪, a phenomenon that already happened in Puerto Rico back in the 1990s, and why we should pay attention to Germany so we don’t repeat the macroeconomic and commercial mistakes of the past.

THANK YOU, Wingstop Puerto Rico 🇵🇷, for your great gesture of kindness and charity toward us 🙌🏽💖✝️🇵🇷! God is good and He shows us that every day!
Because good things are meant to be shared, today we want to dedicate our wall to the wonderful people at Wing Stop in Plaza Palma Real in Humacao, Puerto Rico 🇵🇷.
These past few days, Arturo from lost his bag while buying pet food at Plaza Palma Real. Arturo was very sad about the loss. Why? Well, one would think: “Of course, beyond the money, it’s the value of the personal documents.” Right?
Well, it goes much further than that. It turns out that Arturo keeps something extremely valuable in his bag: a 2nd-class relic of fibers from a handkerchief of St. Padre Pio. A beautiful gift from a dear friend from Ukraine who's part of the team working for the cause of canonization of Ven. Fr. Federico Da Cese, the great spiritual son of St. Padre Pio and another great mystic of that era 😱.
When Arturo arrived extremely distressed, running everywhere thinking he had left it at our workshop, I immediately told him: “Let’s pray to God and ask for the intercession of St. Anthony of Padua 🤎😇.” From the very first moment, I knew we were going to find it.
Days passed. It didn’t appear. And yesterday Arturo told me: “You know what? I’m going to completely surrender this to God.” Meaning, at that moment Arturo didn’t just pray… he TRUSTED.
Look, this is wild… TODAY we received a call. It was the staff from Wing Stop, notifying us that they had found his bag in the shopping center parking lot. Arturo had left it in a shopping cart. And EVERYTHING was in the bag. NOTHING was missing.
That immense charity reminds us that (1) prayer can’t be limited only to asking, but also to letting go… to TRUSTING, and (2) that good people are REALLY out there… and they’re at Wing Stop in Humacao 😇🫶🏽!

Jesus, I trust in You! Thank you, St. Anthony of Padua 🙏🏽! Prayer NEVER fails.

Did you know that October is Hispanic Heritage Month? It’s in this month that photos like these take on a very special meaning. Because many Hispanic businesses are born within families united in mission, life, and spirit.

My mom is an example of that. She oversees all of our manufacturing and is the creator of our popular line of hair bows for girls. Here she is, right in the middle of work at the workshop, taking a photo of the book “Finding Purpose and Passion in Small Business” by Stephen Sullivan, which was published earlier this month in the United States 🇺🇸📖 and includes our business story. We brought it back from our most recent trip to the CMN International Trade Show in Texas.

“Girl, Joan… why didn’t you bring me one?”

“Mom, I’ll buy you one online.”

“Oh, well OK… good! Look… and you’re on the front, right in the middle of the cover.”

How beautiful it is that your parents can see that, after so many years of struggle and hustle, your story has been worthy of being in books, inspiring others 😊🫶🏽✨✝️💖.

And the other photo I’m sharing with you is of Arturo working at the CMN International Trade Show, taking an order from one of the most recognized Catholic stores in the entire United States.

Puerto Rico has always had a lot of talent, but few of us have believed in our potential. And that includes me. Because I was one of those who, as a student, doubted the potential of entrepreneurship to transform lives and families. And I regret that. But at the same time, I thank God for making me an example that you can reinvent yourself, put the name of the Kingdom on high… and bear fruit for His Glory and for the spiritual good of humanity.

Today I look back and see how God put many difficulties in my path at the beginning to get me out of where I should NOT have been, and set me on a bigger mission. To give Glory to His name and help my island in the process.

I still struggle to grasp that Spain, a country that has given so many fruits to the Church, went through moments where Catholics were persecuted, imprisoned, and killed simply for their Faith.

But yes. That’s the case of Bl. Ana María Aranda Riera, whom we remember today.

During the Spanish Civil War, the Red Terror took place. A religious persecution in which churches were burned, priests, religious, and laypeople were murdered simply for being Catholic, and public worship was forbidden. They even searched for lists of active faithful in the Church in order to kill them. Imagine the horror. And there it was… Ana María’s name.

She was part of several lay groups such as Catholic Action and the Children of Mary. She was one of those women who lived and spread the Gospel in their daily life: family, work, neighborhood, charity, formation. For that alone they killed you in those days.

Ana María was one of those people arrested to be killed… simply for being Catholic. They were times of heroes… and they feel a little like what we’re living today.

One would think that in a moment like that a person would abandon their Faith to save themselves, right? But she didn’t. From the very 1st day she knew that she probably wouldn’t get out. And what did she do? Every day she prayed the Rosary with the other women in prison. She comforted them. She prepared herself.

On October 14, 1936, at 4 in the morning, they took her out and machine-gunned her at the Picadero de Paterna. She was 48 years old. Today marks 90 years of that.

That’s the Month of the Rosary for real. It’s not the Rosary of the pretty days. It’s the one you pray when you already know the hard part is coming… and you still do it. Only God knows how many souls she saved in those final moments.

If she was able to pray it in prison, preparing to give her life, we can pray it today in the middle of whatever we are carrying.

Carry it with you. Don’t leave it at home… only God knows when you’re going to need it.

Greetings from Texas 🇺🇲👋🏽! Look at the beautiful gift that arrived at my hotel.
I finally have in my hands a copy of the book “Finding Purpose and Passion in Small Business” 📖, published last week in the United States 🇺🇲, and in which our story at Devozioni by Krystalos is told 🥹💖.
When I opened the book, I got the loveliest surprise. On the first page there is a photo that means a lot to me. The photo of the author, Stephen Sullivan, when he traveled to Puerto Rico to visit us and met the GREAT Fr. Luis Norberto Correa.
Why is that so important? Because without the constant insistence, guidance and help of Fr. Luis Norberto, Devozioni by Krystalos would not exist. God ✝️ worked through him, and that is reason for gratitude 🫶🏽🙌🏽.
Keep praying for us. The CMN Trade Show is almost here, and your prayers that everything goes well are very much needed 🙏🏽.
