في ميدان العمل… حيث يحدث العمل، لا في المكاتب ولا خلف الشاشات
زار وفد رفيع المستوى من الحكومة البلجيكية، برفقة إدارة الوكالة البلجيكية للتعاون الدولي – Enabel، ورشة تدريبية في قرية ميثلون. واستهدفت هذه الورشة نساءً من قرى ميثلون، سيريس، صانور، والجديدة في محافظة جنين، وذلك ضمن مشروع "عملي أملي" الذي ينفذه ملتقى الإبداع والأعمال (B-Hub) في مركز التعليم المستمر – جامعة بيرزيت، بالشراكة مع الوكالة البلجيكية للتعاون الدولي – Enabel، وبتمويل من الحكومة البلجيكية.
يوفّر مشروع عملي أملي فرصة مميزة للنساء دون سن 35 عامًا لتنمية قدراتهن الريادية وإطلاق مشاريعهن الخاصة، بما يسهم في تعزيز صمودهن الاقتصادي وإعادة الأمل لهن. كما يقدّم المشروع برامج ريادية تستهدف التجمعات السكانية المهمشة في مختلف مناطق الضفة الغربية.
وجاءت هذه الزيارة في إطار الجهود المتواصلة التي يبذلها ممثلو الحكومة البلجيكية وEnabel لمتابعة تنفيذ المشروع على أرض الواقع، ولتعميق فهمهم للظروف التي تسعى في ظلها النساء الفلسطينيات للحفاظ على سبل عيشهن.
وخلال الزيارة، اطّلع الوفد على منهجية المشروع في تعزيز صمود النساء في المجتمعات المحلية من خلال التمكين الاقتصادي، وعلى الرحلة التعلمية التي تخوضها المشاركات أثناء تطوير مشاريعهن الإنتاجية. كما قامت سبع رياديات بعرض أفكار مشاريعهن أمام الوفد، أعقبها نقاش معمّق حول السياقين الاقتصادي والسياسي السائدين، والتحديات التي تواجه الرياديات في شمال الضفة الغربية، وسبل التعامل مع هذه التحديات للنهوض بالعمل الريادي وتعزيز التمكين الاقتصادي في المناطق المهمشة.
نتقدم بخالص الشكر والتقدير إلى الحكومة البلجيكية والوكالة البلجيكية للتعاون الدولي – Enabel على التزامهم القوي ودعمهم المتواصل للمبادرات التنموية في فلسطين، ولا سيما تلك الهادفة إلى الحد من الفقر من خلال التنمية الاقتصادية المستدامة.

In the field—where the work happens, not in offices or behind screens
A high-level delegation from the Belgian Government, accompanied by the senior management of the Belgian Agency for International Cooperation – Enabel, visited a training workshop in the village of Meithalun. The workshop targeted women from the villages of Meithalun, Siris, Sanur, and Al-Jadeeda in the Jenin Governorate, and was conducted as part of the “My Business, My Hope” project, implemented by B-Hub at the Center for Continuing Education – Birzeit University, in partnership with Enabel – the Belgian Agency for International Cooperation, and funded by the Government of Belgium.
The “My Business, My Hope” project provides a unique opportunity for women under the age of 35 to develop their entrepreneurial capacities and launch their own businesses, thereby strengthening their economic resilience and restoring hope. The project delivers entrepreneurship programs targeting marginalized communities across the West Bank.
The visit was part of ongoing efforts by representatives of the Belgian Government and Enabel to follow up on project implementation on the ground and to gain a deeper understanding of the conditions under which Palestinian women are striving to sustain their livelihoods.
During the visit, the delegation was introduced to the project’s approach to strengthening the resilience of community women through economic empowerment, as well as to the learning journey undertaken by participating women as they develop their production-based enterprises. Seven women entrepreneurs presented their business ideas to the delegation, followed by in-depth discussions on the prevailing economic and political context, the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs in the northern West Bank, and potential ways to address these challenges in order to advance entrepreneurship and promote economic empowerment in marginalized communities.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Belgian Government and the Belgian Agency for International Cooperation – Enabel for their strong commitment to and continued support of development initiatives in Palestine, particularly those aimed at poverty reduction through sustainable economic development.
