All 3D printers are basically a 3 axis CNC machines.
2-R2C2 electronic board is the Brains of the 3D printer (see block diagram)
3-R2C2 was developed for beginners and experts to build:
-new RepRap (Mendel; Huxley; Prusa) 3D printers.
-replace electronic board on other printers with "closed" software.
-new experimental CNC machines like LASER; Milling; Plotters; Cutting; etc...
4-The objecti

ve was to create a technologically advanced board that take advantage of OpenSource Software and Firmware and let every one improve existing projects and create new ones or just use it.
