A Pladec é especializada em decoração/revestimento de paredes e tetos interiores. Gostam de desafios e trabalham com diversos materiais, a Homeing será apenas mais um desafio da empresa, para apresentarem os seus materiais.

Did you know that the "lava stone" collection is made completely from natural volcanic stone?

This stone is particularly hard to find since it's commonly originated in volcanoes. Volcanoes expel blazing hot magma that eventually solidifies after it has been subject to intense heat and pressure.

This eventually results in a very resistant and porous stone, which works great for countertops, bathrooms and other sorts of projects.

Since this stone was already subject to intense heat, it can be glazed almost the same way as ceramics can.

The result is a simple, flat surface that is vividly colorful.

[EN] The reclaimed wood collection uses only aged and pre-used timber. From old windows to wine barrels, any wood and material can be used on this collection. We have even created patterns that involve laser printing and textiles.

Custom sizes available.

[PT] A coleção de madeira reaproveitada utiliza apenas madeiras já utilizadas e com alguma idade. Desde janelas e portas antigas até barris de vinho, qualquer madeira pode ser utilizada. Podemos também misturar com outros materiais, como têxteis, ou com outras técnicas, como a impressão laser.

[EN] For us, coffee has been more than a source of energy. It's a way to create.

This coffee panel is completely made from used coffee grounds, maintaining the natural smell. A few years ago, we developed a way to reuse almost any material in various shapes. We went from coffee shop to coffee shop, collected the grounds and created different patterns.

The result was this: a beautiful, aromatic panel, made from polluting, methane emitting coffee grounds. A new life for biological materials that are hard to dispose.

[PT] Para nós, o café é mais do que uma fonte de energia. É uma maneira de criar.

Há uns anos atrás, desenvolvemos um processo que nos permite reutilizar (quase) todos os materiais e moldá-los em diferentes padrões. Então, começamos a recolher borras através de cafés locais.

O resultado é um painel incrível, feito a partir de um materiais biológicos naturalmente desperdiçados, cuja reciclagem é difícil de fazer.

Este painel em particular é feito a partir de borras de café. O cheiro natural do material mantém-se, criando uma experiência aromática para quem se encontra perto.

[EN] Ceramics are a material that stands-out in any space. Whether it's from the glazed colors or the shadow play, tiles change continuously throughout the day.

The recycled collection is composed of 99% recycled materials. All of these panels retain the aromas of the materials. The lavender panel is a great solution for relaxing interiors, since it provides a subtle hint of lavender as you walk by.

The texture of this material is similar to OSB.

CLT has been a widely discussed topic in the world of architecture. Disadvantages of this material are usually cost and rare professional experience in building with CLT, both being tackled by the widening interest in this sort of construction.

Building with CLT is a great idea, given that 1) wood is sustainable and that 2) it allows for the same quality and versatility in building. What do you think?
