💼 LBC's onboarding process, 2001 edition:

1. Welcome to the team.
2. This is your desk.
3. You won't be needing it.

João Alves started on a Monday in early December. He was sent straight out to a client. He next saw the office in February.

He stayed six and a half years and completed more than 50 projects, across Lisbon and Mozambique.

He left twice. He came back twice.

Today he's Global Marketing Director for Oncology at GSK in Switzerland – and he still says it was at LBC, not at the client, that he learned how to actually work.

We'll take that. Especially the "actually."

💭 Someone had to step onto the wire first. Before the data, before the dashboards, before any machine could be asked what tomorrow might hold, there was only a thin line drawn forward and the decision to walk it.

That decision eventually became a sentence, and the sentence became a way of working: to know first, so that you may decide first.

Twenty-five years on, the tools would be unrecognizable to the people who began, but the balance would not. The line still forms a step ahead of us and we still lean into it, because the future has never belonged to the fastest. It belongs to those who see it first.

🎯 In 2001, when LBC was born, the world was going through what was known as the “artificial intelligence (AI) winter”, a time when the excitement and investment around AI were far from what we see today.

25 years later, we are living in a new era: the era of generative AI, ubiquitous technology and transformation as part of our everyday lives.

LBC has also changed a great deal over these 25 years. We have grown, learned, reinvented ourselves, and moved through winters, springs and many other seasons. But one thing has always remained at the center: the people, the ideas, the projects and the stories that brought us here.

That is why we decided to celebrate differently this year. For 25 days, we will open our 25th anniversary advent calendar revealing memories, projects, moments and people that are part of our story.

And because this celebration also looks to the future, the video launching this journey brings together what we believe in: technology with purpose, artificial intelligence with creativity, and above all, a lot of human in the loop.

We are celebrating 25 years. And today, we begin opening this story with you.

Solid results in 2025. More value for customers through AI.

LBC ended 2025 with a robust performance and significant investment in business transformation:

- EBITDA up 32.9%, to 1.40 M€
- Net income up 34.6%, to €1.02 million
- Revenue up 13.1%, to €9.17 million
- Customer satisfaction rating of 5.2/6
- 14 projects incorporating artificial intelligence (AI)

This performance gives us a solid foundation to accelerate our future: we are investing more than 1.15 M€ between 2025 and 2026 in AI, international expansion, digital solutions, and organizational transformation.

We entered 2026 with 50% of our annual revenue target already secured and a clear goal: to create more value for our customers by combining a human perspective, AI, business expertise, technology, and ex*****on.
