Hello dear readers,

So it's been a while since we are out there and we thought it was about time we made a small introduction about who we are and what we do.

Tyche Immigration is a sister company of Tyche Wealth Management which provides financial services and customized solutions in the area of asset management. Tyche immigration was founded by 2 incredible individuals who thought of helping people with bureaucracy and obtaining residency in Portugal. Mr Dharam Trivedi and Miss Sonal Goritiyal are not just good friends whose roots are from Asia but they are also Business partners who work on shared ambitions and goals.

After going through a strenuous process of obtaining residence in Portugal for themselves and crossing all the challenging hurdles of bureaucracy and administration these 2 managed to obtain their residence on their own. This process has not only been challenging from the administrative point of view but also coming across agents trying to scam them for their own benefits by giving false promises.

TYCHE IMMIGRATION was born because these two decided to make sure that others don’t have to face the hardships and challenges in the process so they came up with the thought of helping people with the residency process and that's when Tyche Immigration Consultancy was born.

We are looking forward to connecting and helping anyone looking for assistance to migrate to Portugal or to the European Union, we also assist with business establishments. For further queries reach out to us on WhatsApp, Instagram, or email.

Netherlands Orientation year visa

The Dutch orientation year visa is a residence permit for highly educated people valid for a year. As a holder of this visa you are allowed to work in The Netherlands without any restrictions.

The Netherlands considers it highly important that highly skilled migrants have the time they need to find a job or start their own company in the Netherlands after completing their studies.

You can apply for this residence permit within 3 years after completing your study, or obtaining your PhD in the Netherlands or abroad. The orientation visa also gives you the right to work in the Netherlands, so your employer does not need to apply for a separate work permit (TWV) for you.

D3 Highly Skilled Visa
Most of the people are not aware that there is a work visa for Portugal specially for Highly Qualified professionals called D3 Visa. It is similar to the orientation year visa for The Netherlands and search Visa for Germany (I will post more about these 2 visas in my upcoming posts)
D3 visa has been increasingly requested and granted at the consulates and is becoming a concrete alternative for qualified professionals. In order to attract highly qualified professionals to the country who have a work contract in sight with national companies Portuguese legislation provides for this visa.
This visa allows the visa holder's family to enter the Portuguese territory for work purposes and to establish residence for all. After this visa expires it is not only possible to apply for a Residence Permit for Portugal, but also the European Union (EU) Blue Card - which is the Residence Permit for highly qualified professionals with European scope.
 Who is considered highly qualified?
The law defines a highly qualified individual as one who has specialized technical skills of an exceptional nature or an adequate qualification. They fall under these 2 groups
Management positions: executives, officers and legislators; senior public administration officers, directors; administrative and commercial managers; service and similar managers; company directors
Experts in intellectual and scientific activities: engineers and scientists, health professionals, teachers, business and management professionals, information and communication technology professionals, cultural professionals and legal experts.

Requirements
That the activity to be developed be framed as a highly qualified activity and that the professional proves adequate qualification or experience for its exercise;

That the contract is for an indefinite period or at least for one year

That the expected salary corresponds to an annual salary of at least 1.5 times the national average gross annual salary or three times the social support index.

However, for employment in professions considered to be particularly needy by third-country nationals, 1.2 times the national average gross wage or twice.

A residence visa for passive income holders or retirees who want to live in Portugal. Passive income earners who can apply for this visa to gain special tax status that grants them a 10year income tax break. Non EU/ EEA/Swiss Citizens who intend to relocate to Portugal and have a reasonable net regular passive income can apply for this visa.

The D7 visa does not preclude the holder from having a professional activity in Portugal therefore this is generally the best alternative to Golden Visa for someone who actually intends to live in Portugal over an extended period of time.

Benefits of D7 Visa
Permanent free entry and circulation in the Schengen space, comprising 26 countries.

Freedom to live in Portugal and if so wished to have professional activity in the country.

Option to become a non habitual resident(NHR) of Portugal for tax purposes.

Access to other Portugal residents rights such as education, recognition of diplomas and qualifications, healthcare, social security, trade union protection, the law and the courts of law.

Requirements
One of the important requirements is to prove that the applicant has the minimum income provided by law that allows them to be resident in Portugal for a Period of not less than 12months which are:

1st adult (applicant): 100% of the current minimum salary (€ 665) = € 7,980/year

2nd or more adults: 50% of the current minimum salary (€ 333) = € 3,996/year

children and young people under 18 years and children over the age of 18: 30% of the current minimum salary (€ 200) = € 2,400/year.

Procedure consists of 2 stages
The first stage is with the consulate or Embassy of Portugal in your country.

The second stage is with the foreigners border services (SEF) in Portugal.

D7 Visa allows the holder to obtain a residence permit in Portugal for a period of 2 years, that can then be renewed for a period of 3 years and, after 5 years, the applicant may acquire the permanent residence permit or Portuguese nationality. The minimum length of stay in Portugal is 6 consecutive months or 8 months interspersed.
