Geographically, the highest rental values were observed in Grande Lisboa, Península de Setúbal, Algarve, Região Autónoma da Madeira, and Área Metropolitana do Porto.

Municipalities with populations exceeding 100,000 saw pronounced rises in rental values, particularly in Guimarães, Vila Nova de Famalicão, Coimbra, and Braga, where increases surpassed 15%. In contrast, Lisbon, despite having the highest median rental rate at 15.25 €/sq.m, had a smaller year-on-year growth rate of 4.9%, below the national average. Meanwhile, notable decreases in the number of new lease agreements were recorded in cities like Funchal, Oeiras, Seixal, Guimarães, and Sintra.

The main typologies are designated as T1, T2, T3 and so on, where the number indicates the number of bedrooms. It is important to understand that these designations do not include bathrooms and kitchens.

T1 is a one bedroom apartment. It is ideal for singles or young couples without children.

T2 is a two-bedroom apartment that is an excellent choice for families with one child or those who need additional space for a guest room or office.

T3 is a three bedroom apartment suitable for large families or those who prefer spacious accommodation.
