Thank you to everyone who joined us last week for a special encounter between two vibrant glass worlds: Portugal with Hugo Amado and Nelson Figueiredo, and Italy with Lucia Massari and Emmanuel Babled.

It was an insightful look into the state of glass art today, offering inspiration for the future and honest discussions about the craft's challenges.

Don't miss the exhibition “Di Vetro” between Prime Matter Gallery and Babled Studio, where you will be able to see pieces from all their productions and collaborations, open until November 17th.

Last week, The 3rd Floor hosted a captivating 4-hour workshop where participants delved into the world of Portuguese cane basketry alongside the renowned master artisan, Domingos Romeira Vaz.

Domingos, a guardian of tradition, shared the ancient secrets of crafting a beautiful cane basket with enthusiastic attendees. Not only did they take home their pieces, but they also discovered the art of cane harvesting and raw material preparation.

The currently available private office is ideal for teams who are looking for a particular lockable and comfortable space for between 2 and 6 people.

Natural dyeing workshop on 11.02.2023 @ The 3rd Floor, Lisbon | Duration 14:30h - 17:30h | Fee 15€ | Language ENG / PT

Join us for this workshop where Tamara Bigot from will teach you the natural dyeing process:

- How to extract colours from natural ingredients
- How to dye cotton fabric pieces
- How to create patterns using the tie & dye and shirobi techniques

Every participant will take home samples of the different colours produced during the workshop, and a decorative wall-hanging dyed with the shirobi technique.

All materials will be provided and are included in the fee.
