🇪🇸 FabCon Europe 2026 – Day 3: the human side of data 💚

If day two was all about roadmaps, day three was all about people.

Yes, there were great sessions on AI agents, Power BI and Fabric IQ. But what stayed with us were the moments in between: coffee-break chats with people we'd never met, swapping stories with other teams facing the same challenges, and realising how many of us are trying to solve the same problems.

The community spirit is everywhere. You can see it on the giant colouring wall in the Community Lounge, where people from Mexico, Peru, Vietnam and beyond have left their mark. You can hear it in sessions that go beyond tech, about inclusion, personal growth and what it means to build a community where everyone belongs.

We also had our share of fun 😄 André Pedrinho, Bruno Costa, Diego Scalioni, Rui Gonçalves and Vanessa Silva tested their luck at the Expo prize wheels and took on some tricky puzzles at the stands. Then came the famous Power Hour, a session that opens with "We promise you won't learn anything!" 😂 and is pure FabCon energy.

🇪🇸 FabCon Europe 2026 – Day 2 recap from Barcelona!

Yesterday was the official start of the conference, and the BI4ALL by Plexus Tech team made the most of every minute. ⚡

It kicked off with the keynote "The Data Foundation for AI: What's Next in Microsoft Fabric", and the message was clear: AI is only as good as the data behind it.

André Pedrinho, Bruno Costa, Diego Scalioni, Rui Gonçalves and Vanessa Silva split up to cover as much as possible:

🇪🇸 FabCon Europe 2026 – Day 1 in Barcelona!

The BI4ALL by Plexus Tech team arrived in Barcelona yesterday, and what a start it's been! ⚡ André Pedrinho, Bruno Costa, Diego Scalioni, Rui Gonçalves and Vanessa Silva are already in full FabCon mode.

Day one focused on hands-on workshops. We covered everything from building a production-ready Lakehouse in Microsoft Fabric to bringing Agentic AI into Power BI. We also dug into event-driven architectures with Real-Time Intelligence, Fabric capacity strategies, Dataflow Gen2 for ETL, and end-to-end migration from legacy data warehouses to Fabric.

We're loving the energy here! There's so much knowledge-sharing and so many great technical conversations. We've picked up so many useful ideas that we're already thinking about how to bring them into our clients' projects. 💡

And we're only just getting started! Three more days are ahead, packed with sessions, announcements, and great conversations.

That's the bug we fix first in Episode 2 of "Fix the Dashboard" — a CALCULATE measure silently stripping out every filter. We also speed up a slow DAX pattern and turn a model full of "Measure 1, Measure 2, Measure 3" into something a human can actually read.
