LEIRIA
Donations are being collected at Pousos Pavilion and the headquarters of Cáritas Diocesana de Leiria.
Urgently needed: bottled water, non-perishable food, hygiene products, tarpaulins and plastic sheeting, roof protection materials, construction supplies, gloves, and generators.
Volunteers can join the “Reerguer Leiria” action.
Meeting point: Saturday, 10:00, Gate 1 of the Municipal Stadium.
MARINHA GRANDE
Donations at Nery Capucho Pavilion.
Urgently needed: water, non-perishable food, hygiene products, tarpaulins, mattresses, blankets, adult and children’s clothing.
At the Municipal Yard, volunteers and construction and cleaning materials are also being coordinated, including tiles, cement, tools, gloves, and waterproof sheets.
A Social Support Office is operating with Civil Protection.
POMBAL
Support centre at the Pavilion of Economic Activities.
Urgently needed: food, hygiene products, tarpaulins, tiles, cement, sand, silicone, and work gloves.
Showers available at Professor Eduardo Gomes Pavilion until 1 February, 10:00–18:00.
Device charging available until 22:00.
FIGUEIRÓ DOS VINHOS
Donations at the Training Centre.
Urgently needed: bed linen, blankets, pillows, bedroom and living room furniture, and household appliances.
Local authorities report families have lost basic material goods.
COIMBRA AND OURÉM
Coimbra: The Academic Association is collecting donations at its stationery shop for the next two weeks, 9:30–17:30.
Urgently needed: water, non-perishable food, hygiene products, tarpaulins, plastic sheets.
Ourém: The municipality urgently asks residents to lend generators to support care homes and day centres.
Municipal swimming pool changing rooms are open for showers until Sunday, 20:00.
OTHER CITIES
Authorities in the Lisbon, Porto and Coimbra metropolitan areas have issued an urgent call for blood donors.
Linda-a-Velha: Collection organised by singer Carolina Deslandes, Saturday 12:30–14:00 at Largo da Lagoa.
Matosinhos: Collection at e-goi, Sunday and Monday 10:00–19:00, delivery to Leiria on Tuesday.
Oliveira de Azeméis: Water and canned food collection at Carregosa Parish Centre, Saturday and Sunday 15:00–18:00.
TempestadeSOS
Volunteers have created the TempestadeSOS platform, where people can offer or request help.
The platform connects those in need with nearby volunteers, prioritising local, fast, and human responses.
Support already includes food deliveries, bottled water, hygiene products, nappies, and help for isolated or dependent people.
