Hi all! I'm so sorry to have been quiet for the last few months and haven't shared updates on the status of ExpaCity and what I'm doing next.

You may know ExpaCity will close at the end of August. So now's the time to binge-watch ExpaCity's educational webinars on moving to and living in Portugal, by our curated group of ExpaCity experts!

The jersey-style top Bad Bunny wore during the halftime show was made in Portugal. Specifically, the cream football-style shirt with “Ocasio” and the number 64 was produced in Santo Tirso in northern Portugal at a factory operated by the Portuguese textile company Sidi Group, working with Zara, which created the piece. The garment was developed under tight secrecy after being ordered in late January and manufactured in just a few days; it was custom-made for the performance and not intended for commercial sale.

The stylists, Strom Pablo and Marvin Douglas Linares, designed the look, and the finished jersey was produced by the Portuguese factory before being shipped for the show. Therefore, the global Super Bowl stage carried a small Portuguese industrial footprint: a Portuguese-made textile piece worn by a Puerto Rican artist during one of the world's most-watched broadcasts.

Bad Bunny, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio (1994), is a Puerto Rican rapper, singer, and songwriter who has become one of the most influential figures in global music. Rising from Vega Baja through independently released tracks, he helped propel Spanish-language reggaeton and Latin trap into the mainstream, achieving worldwide success with albums such as YHLQMDLG, El Último Tour del Mundo, and Un Verano Sin Ti.
