On this edition, you can learn more about the Ombria Resort golf course, which was awarded "Best New Golf Course in Europe" by the World Golf Awards. This 18-hole course, designed by Jorge Santana da Silva, officially opened in October 2024 and has been recognized for its exceptional design and integration with the natural landscape.

Ombria Algarve was named Europe’s Best New Golf Course 2024

We are proud to announce that Ombria Algarve was named Europe’s Best New Golf Course at the 2024 World Golf Awards!

“Our Golf Director, Salvador Costa Macedo, expressed his gratitude, saying: ‘It’s truly an honour to receive this prestigious award, which recognises our dedication to quality, sustainability, and the exceptional experience we offer golfers from around the globe.’”

Our 18-hole, par 71 golf course, designed by Jorge Santana da Silva, incorporates our breathtaking surroundings into every moment upon the course, challenging us to truly play alongside nature.

This award is a testament to the dedication of our tireless golf team and everyone who worked relentlessly to bring our vision of truly sustainable golf in the region to life.
