I’ve been quiet for a while, and I want to acknowledge that.

I delayed communicating because it was genuinely hard to pause a project that meant so much to me. Letting go is never instant, especially when something is deeply personal.

When I began the Begs & Bags journey, I had the privilege of working side by side with Azorean artisans who helped bring my vision of sustainable, soulful fashion to life. During the quiet pause of the pandemic they found the time to create something deeply personal, intentional, and truly limited. As life has found its rhythm again, these artisans are overwhelmed with local work, and that is something I deeply respect.
