► A little about Candice:-

Shandee was founded by Candice Schwegmann whom is very passionate about the brand and most things that she does. Candice started her career in 2003 at a firm of attorney's in Hillcrest, KZN as a receptionist. She made it her mission to grow within the company and learn from each department. Her passion became numbers and she was appointed as a Junior Bookkeeper. In 2005, she was retrenched and this in fact opened more doors for her and her career. Through many temp assignments (she loved working for different companies, doing different things) she received excellent referrals and more knowledge and experience. After a couple of months she became a retail credit controller whom specialised with Shoprite & Pick n Pay accounts. Seven years later she realised that she wanted to learn more and this lead to her meeting an entrepreneur whom helped her to discover new and exciting things. Working with a business coach, entrepreneurs and influential people she was involved with more than one brand. In three years she wore every hat within a business and this is what created a spark within her - her desire to lead and help others as a virtual assistant, executive PA and Business Administrator with not one but a group of like-minded individuals. Shandee was created in August 2015.

If you’re a non-provisional individual taxpayer who still needs to submit your personal income tax return, now is the time to get it done.

✔️ Check that you have all your supporting documents
✔️ Make sure your income and deductions are correctly reported
✔️ Don’t leave your submission until the last minute!

Somewhere between running a business, answering emails, keeping clients on track, chasing deadlines and trying to remember what day it is… I’m also making sure I actually enjoy the life I worked so hard to build.

Hi, I’m Candice 👋🏼

If you’re new here, welcome… and if you’ve been around for a while, I figured it’s about time I properly introduce myself. 😊

I’m the person behind Shandee Virtual Assistants, helping business owners stay on top of their bookkeeping, compliance, admin and all those little things that somehow become BIG things. 😂

I’ve always been a bit of a “let me sort that out” person. 😅

I love making sense of the numbers, finding better ways of doing things, getting systems in place and taking some of the pressure off busy business owners.

Around here you’ll find a mix of business, bookkeeping, behind-the-scenes, a little bit of real life and probably plenty of coffee or tea. ☕️

And although the work I do is serious, I definitely don’t take myself too seriously. ✈️😂

Early Wednesday morning, our town and nearby areas were hit by a cyclone, which caused significant damage. We’ve been without power and water, so we haven’t been able to access meetings, calls, emails or messages until now.

The good news is we’re safe and feeling very grateful, especially seeing the impact around us. I currently have limited mobile data, but our fibre lines are still down and may take a little while to be restored.

I’m working on getting back up and online as soon as possible and will be catching up on month-end work and upcoming deadlines as the financial year approaches us.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding it’s genuinely appreciated.
