March 23, 2012 – the date that I officially registered It’s In The Details.
13 years. The traditional element for the 13th anniversary in marriage is lace. This is fitting as I reflect on the intricate and delicate yet strong connections that I have been fortunate to have woven over the years.
This milestone has not been reached by only me. I have been self-employed, but not alone by any means. My clients, with their trust in my expertise, have been the reason for my sustained passion to work with them in supporting their visions and life’s work. My wonderful colleagues from accountability groups to various networks have enriched my path, weaving together a tapestry of shared success and inspiration. My family has also been my anchor, sustaining me through all the highs and lows.
Last year marked a huge transition as my husband and I moved to Portugal. This has been a large piece of my “why” over the years, having the flexibility to work from anywhere! I get to live in a beautiful new place, I get to explore new surroundings and learn new cultures and a new language while I continue working with my wonderful clients and colleagues back in Canada.
I am so incredibly grateful to see how beautifully my professional and personal lives have intertwined, providing a solid foundation for future growth. This anniversary is a moment to celebrate past triumphs while looking forward with hope and excitement toward new opportunities and continued success.
