by lavie is a fruity fragrance for men. Amazing signature salinity (that sparky effervescence derived from its infamous heavy-handed combination of bergamot and ambroxan) is entirely lost in the oil. Not only does that force you to notice the ambery tones and smoother, spicier background notes, but it also significantly dials down projection.
