Când alegem un taur pentru o fermă, nu ar trebui să ne uităm doar la câte kilograme de lapte transmite.

Un taur poate arăta extraordinar la producție, dar ferma are nevoie de profit, nu doar de litri.

Eu mă uit la întregul tablou:

🥛 sănătatea ugerului
📈 valoarea economică a geneticii

Și, mai important, mă uit la ce are nevoie efectivul respectiv.

Pentru că taurul foarte bun pentru ferma A poate să nu fie cea mai bună alegere pentru ferma B.

Genetica bună nu înseamnă să alegi taurul cu cea mai mare cifră.
Înseamnă să alegi taurul potrivit pentru obiectivul fermei.
