Despăgubiri finale acordate pacientelor britanice, bulgare și columbiene în dosarul PIP.

Pe 29 ianuarie 2026, Tribunalul de Comerț din Toulon a acordat despăgubiri finale cuprinse între 6.000 și 47.000 de euro pentru 371 de victime, în majoritate paciente britanice, dar și bulgare și columbiene, în dosarul protezelor mamare produse de Poly Implant Prothèse (PIP), Valul I.

Instanța a obligat certificatorul german TÜV Rheinland la plata acestor sume, care acoperă atât prejudiciile suferite, cât și cheltuieli medicale trecute și viitoare, stabilite pe baza expertizelor judiciare.

Această decizie vine după ce Curtea de Casație a Franței a confirmat anterior responsabilitatea certificatorului pentru nerespectarea obligațiilor de control.

Pentru pacientele românce reprezentate de Benclinov si Asociatii și avocatul Olivier Aumaître, această hotărâre reprezintă un precedent solid și o evoluție încurajatoare.

Avocatul Olivier Aumaître a calificat decizia drept „inedită și exemplară”, subliniind că jurisprudența PIP ar putea deveni un reper pentru viitoare acțiuni colective în materie de răspundere medicală și certificare a dispozitivelor medicale.

Pacientele din România fac parte din Valul II și III al procedurilor judiciare și asteptăm cu încredere pronunțarea de către instanțele franceze a unor decizii similare de despăgubire pentru prejudiciile suferite.

Green Transition: Challenges & Opportunities for Businesses 🌱

On February 20, the first 2025 meeting of the CCIFER Green Transition Group took place, where the key findings of the study were presented. It reveals that while 72.9% of companies consider high costs the main obstacle in the green transition, 57.4% see sustainability as an opportunity to access new markets and attract investments.

Raluca Curelea represented our Law Firm in the discussions, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and business transformation. During the meeting, she emphasized the following key topics:
✅ Carbon sequestration in orchards and forests – both above ground (trunks, branches) and in soil (roots).
✅ Adopting carbon sequestration measurement methodologies, following the EU model, particularly the successful French framework.

Starting January 1, 2025, Romania is implementing CAEN Rev. 3, updating the classification of economic activities based on Order No. 377/2024 issued by the National Institute of Statistics.
