Brands are using AI for content… and somehow ending up sounding less human than before.
It’s not the tool, it’s how it’s being used.
A lot of what’s out there right now follows the same pattern. Same structure, same tone, same safe way of saying things. It reads fine, but it doesn’t stay with you. There’s nothing in it that makes you pause or feel like someone actually meant what they wrote.
And people do pick up on that, even if they don’t always say it directly.
AI itself isn’t the issue. It just gets left to do too much on its own.
When it’s used properly, it can be incredibly helpful. But you still need someone behind it who understands voice, rhythm, audience, and what actually makes content land.
Otherwise, everything starts to sound the same.
This month, I’m opening space for a few new content projects through Moria’s Voices in Marketing.
We don’t avoid AI. We use it, but we keep it in its place, so the content still sounds like a person, carries intention, and actually does its job.
We’re only taking on a small number of projects, so we’ll be selective with who we work with.
If this feels familiar, or if your content isn’t quite doing what it should, feel free to reach out. 💛
