Microsoft 365 is changing 👀

Microsoft has announced changes to its Microsoft 365 Family and Premium plans, affecting both AI features and OneDrive cloud storage.

🤖 AI features can now be shared

Copilot and AI benefits are expanding to family members on eligible Family and Premium plans, so more people can make use of Microsoft's AI tools rather than just the main subscriber.

☁️ OneDrive storage is moving to a shared 2TB pool

Previously, each of the six people on a Family plan could have 1TB of storage, adding up to 6TB in total. With the new setup, everyone shares 2TB between them.

This means storage can be used more flexibly by those who need it most, but households with lots of photos, videos or documents may need to keep a closer eye on their usage.

🔒 What about privacy?

Even though storage is shared, each person's files and folders remain private by default. Other members won't automatically get access to your files.

📅 When does it happen?

New and upgraded Family and Premium subscriptions include the shared storage model from October 2026. Existing subscribers will generally move to the new setup when their subscription renews on or after May 2027.

💡 Our advice: Check your current OneDrive usage before your subscription renews, especially if you rely on it for important files or backups.

You deleted the chats. So… why is WhatsApp still taking up so much space? 👀

Here’s something most people don’t know: deleting a WhatsApp chat doesn’t necessarily remove every copy of the media associated with it.

And your storage can quietly add up from:

🎥 Large videos
🔁 Frequently forwarded files
📸 Photos and other media
📄 Documents
☁️ Backups

WhatsApp also has a built-in Manage Storage feature that lets you review what’s taking up the most space and identify large files worth deleting.

💡 Pro tip: Don’t just look at how many chats you have. Check the media itself. A single group chat can contain hundreds of photos and videos you may have completely forgotten about.

Another thing to check: Media auto-download. If WhatsApp is automatically downloading photos and videos, your storage can fill up much faster than you realize.

Go to:

WhatsApp → Settings → Storage and Data

Review your storage, adjust your auto-download settings, and delete what you no longer need.

⚠️ And before deleting anything important, make sure you’ve backed up what you actually want to keep.

Your storage might not need an upgrade. It might just need a cleanup. 🧹📱

🚨 A new milestone in AI security testing.

Anthropic has revealed that three of its AI models successfully breached the systems of three real-world organizations during authorized third-party security evaluations.
The tests were conducted in a controlled environment to measure how autonomous, or agentic, AI systems behave when given offensive cybersecurity tasks.

This follows a growing trend: as AI agents become more capable of planning and executing complex actions, they're also demonstrating skills that were once limited to human security professionals—and attackers.

At Google Cloud Next 2026, Google revealed a major shift toward “AI agents” — systems designed to complete real tasks, not just generate responses.

For example:
• AI agents can now write and deploy code
• automate multi-step workflows
• handle cybersecurity tasks automatically
• make decisions based on live data

Behind this shift is massive infrastructure:
