Huna is Ana’s arts and crafts shop that transforms waste into wonderful, handmade accessories. She makes different lines of products out of recycled leather, pineapple fiber and biocomposite grown with coconut water. Her mission is to change the way people think about the planet and animals. And since it’s Ana’s birthday today, we thought we would post this project and wish her a happy birthday!

One of the cultures most associated with nature, happiness and freedom is the Hawaiian culture. Its philosophy, created thousands of years ago, is based on 7 principles of life, summarized in a single word that means “secret” or “hidden knowledge”. It is the primordial wisdom about life and the world around us. That word is “huna” and also the name we gave the brand, along with the tagline “Crafting human nature”, a metaphor that ties the brand’s mission to the products.

Strongbytes builds full-fledged products powered by AI: SaaS and APIs, agentic systems, and the evaluation and observability needed to ship with confidence.

We helped them with a brand new identity, website and collaterals. The final solution was a neural network inspired SB lettermark that we used in several other visual brand assets and an identity system built on deep blues and dark greys. We also designed a modern website with an uncommon layout: two left and right sticky columns that host the logo and menu, with a three column structure in between.

Created in Iași with the help of people passionate about IT and willing to share their experience, the .ro academy has developed over the past years as the top solution in alternative programming education and industry-related interests in North-East Romania.

We had to create a brand that makes the field appealing to everyone, even though programming might seem scary. So we created a visual identity that is friendly, colorful and approachable. We used basic geometric shapes and combined them in layouts to take the potential client’s imagination back to childhood memories, where they used colored blocks to learn and build things.

The logo is a simple shape composed of a square and a semicircle that looks like a computer screen but also a human figure. We animated it and it became a distinguishable figure for the brand.

A while back we worked with .ro to deliver a brand identity that would help them position themselves as friendly and dependable home and property trouble fixers, with quick and impeccable services, covering a niche sector that is largely unpopulated.

We designed a telling logo that uses negative space to unite three key symbols: a location pin, a wrench and a home. The contrast between bold type usage and coral shades, together with 3D illustrations and an unapologetic tone of voice made for a unique visual identity in the local construction landscape.

Taking place in Iași this month, will unite over 300 mayors, architects, urbanists, and representatives from international financial institutions, the academic sector and civil society to collaborate on practical solutions for enhancing urban life in Romania.

We worked together with the Iulius Foundation to develop the summit’s identity and visual platform. Since Tilia means linden in latin, we designed the logo as a geometric representation of a linden flower and quite a perfect analogy for what the conference aims to do: bring all the important stakeholders together to create the future of Romanian cities. The identity combines four abstract outlined symbols, each representing different parts of the linden tree, with duotone imagery and a fresh, natural color palette.

For the past months we've been working closely with to reimagine and implement a new visual identity for one of Iași's most iconic hotels.

Born out of a new brand promise of delivering excelent hospitality services, the new visual platform embraces the connection between two key identifiers in the hotel's physical space: the beautiful garden shadowed by lilacs and the omnipresent art pieces throughout the hallways and event rooms.

What resulted is a clear and calm visual expression, almost like a waltz in its rhythm, painted through a contemporary and daring choice of colors that moves away from the muted and timid palettes that hotels are still using.

It's been a pleasure!
