Everyone wants to talk about “purpose.”
They write manifestos. They post inspiring quotes. They say they’re going to change the world.

But they forget the most important rule: you can’t change the world if no one is listening. And no one will listen if you’re talking to “everybody.”
This is the strategic gap for so many social enterprises. A brilliant mission, but a blurry view of the market.

Yesterday, our co-founder spent the day closing that gap with the social enterprises in the NESsT Romania portfolio. We skipped the fluff and focused on the unsexy, brutally effective fundamentals.

We covered segmentation: the rigorous work of seeing the market clearly, because you can’t build a growth strategy on a guess. Then targeting: the brave choice to be irrelevant to many so you can be essential to a few. And finally, positioning: the art of becoming the only answer to a very specific problem.

Impact doesn’t come from having a good heart. It comes from having a sharp strategy.

Hats off to NESsT Romania for understanding that building a better business is the only sustainable way to build a better world. They get it.
