On 19โ€“20 May, we took part in the project kick-off meeting in Constanศ›a, where we had the opportunity to meet our partners, exchange ideas, and discuss the next steps for the project๐Ÿ“ˆ๐Ÿ“Š

๐Ÿค Weโ€™re happy to share that BIC is a partner in the European VITAL project, and that we took part in the projectโ€™s Kick-off Meeting in Naples!

It was a great opportunity to meet the project partners in person, exchange ideas, and discuss the projectโ€™s goals, planned activities and next steps. The meeting laid a strong foundation for collaboration and for working together on skills, innovation and sustainability in the livestock sector.

The journey has just begun, and we canโ€™t wait to see the difference VITAL will make for the livestock sector across Europe!๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ„

The second ๐๐ฎ๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐“๐ž๐š๐ฆ meeting took place in the beautiful city of Aix-en-Provence!

Our consortium spent three full days preparing to make the ๐š๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐ž๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉโ€™ ๐ž๐ฑ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž abroad as smooth and helpful as possible, as this step is getting closer.

During the meeting, we talked about:

๐Ÿ”น The companies interested in hosting apprentices from each partner country
๐Ÿ”น A common method to recognise the skills apprentices will gain abroad
๐Ÿ”น Possible challenges during the 2-4-6 month mobilities and how to solve them
๐Ÿ”น Strategies to give good support to apprentices while they are abroad

โœจ ๐–๐ก๐š๐ญโ€™๐ฌ ๐ง๐ž๐ฑ๐ญ?

We are now excited to put our plans into practice and make the mobilities a meaningful experience for the participants.

We were proud to join ๐…๐จ๐จ๐๐—๐ˆ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐š๐œ๐ญ 2025 as project partners and to contribute to the collective work against food waste.

The Nov 24 event at Villa Doria dโ€™Angri in Naples, held within the ๐…๐จ๐จ๐๐‚๐ก๐š๐ฌ๐ž project, brought together supply chains, businesses, researchers and institutions for a powerful exchange on ๐ข๐ง๐ง๐จ๐ฏ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ข๐ง๐š๐›๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ.

๐ŸŒฟ Inspiring roundtables and talks on logistics, traceability and upcycling opened new perspectives for the sector.

We are building pathways for the future of European VET!

Within the QualiTEAM project (Project no. 101196074), our consortium is developing an interactive European platform designed to support long-term cross-border mobility for vocational learners across Europe.

The platform will feature:

โœ… Legal and educational insights into national VET systems
โœ… Real case studies from successful mobilities
โœ… A dynamic map of companies ready to host international apprentices
โœ… Practical tools for bilateral coordination between countries

โœจ The most exciting step is coming soon:

The official selection of students who will embark on long-term mobility experiences abroad (2โ€“6 months).

๐Ÿ“ข These opportunities will allow learners to:

๐Ÿ”น Develop real skills in international workplaces
๐Ÿ”น Gain cultural and professional confidence
๐Ÿ”น Build networks across borders
