47% of Luxembourg are

The Grand Duchy's population is the fastest-growing in the EU, expanding at more than 15 times the rate of the bloc as a whole in the decade from 2011, census statistics published by Statec show. The EU's population increased by just 1.7% in the ten years to 2021.

Luxembourg’s prominent position as a financial capital, together with its buoyant job market, high salaries and standard of living are continuing to attract immigrants from elsewhere in Europe and around the globe.

Over 9,000 more people entered the country than left in 2021, a three-fold increase since 1990, Statec said. The average age of a typical Luxembourg resident rose by just one year, to 39, from the previous census.

Statec also said that in 2022, around 3,200 Luxembourg nationals left the country, the highest figure ever registered since recordkeeping started in 1967. Luxembourgers only constitute around a quarter of the workforce, which also includes over 200,000 cross-border commuters.

Almost one in ten new cross-border commuters is a Luxembourg citizen, according to data compiled by think tank Fondation Idea, as housing prices are forcing people to look for cheaper options abroad.

Germany's time bomb: the !!!

For years, German companies have been warning of a ticking time bomb at the heart of Europe's biggest economy: a shortage of .

It has long been a source of anxious debate but it has intensified recently. Companies across multiple sectors say they are struggling to find the workers they need and that the situation is getting worse.

The German government thinks immigration is one of the solutions. It expects to pass extensive immigration reform legislation in the coming weeks which it hopes will make Germany a more attractive destination for foreign workers.

"Germany will lack 7 million workers by 2035 if we don't do something," the country's labor minister, Hubertus Heil, told the Financial Times this week. He shares the belief of many business leaders that the shortage will soon start to sap German growth if it hasn't started already.

of -Exit , Continues to

As per a report of Schengen Visa Info, the European Union (EU) once again delayed the implementation of the Entry-Exit System (EES), a new biometric system that replaces passport stamping with digital registration for travellers entering and exiting the Schengen Area.

According to the report, the database required for EES implementation has not yet been completed, resulting in the postponement. In June, an official decision on the new launch date is expected.

The Schengen visa application process is set to undergo a complete digital transformation after the EU Parliament approved a report. The new report aims to modernize the current visa application procedures, moving away from traditional physical applications and visa stickers to a more efficient and streamlined digital system.

Relaxes to More , !!!

If you are planning to travel to a European country for work or study, you should be aware of the difficult visa rules to obtain an EU visa.

However, your wait may be over as Denmark, the southernmost of the Scandinavian countries known for its high-quality design and architecture, has decided to relax its work visa rules for foreign workers, and students including non-EU workers.

The Danish government recently announced plans to relax work visa requirements in order to attract more foreign workers, students, and non-EU workers to the country.

The move comes after Denmark experienced a severe labour shortage as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, prompting the government to relax work visa rules.

: 5 Countries That Without An !!!

If you’re thinking about moving to another country for work, you should look beyond the usual suspects like the United States and Canada. These countries are frequently inundated with job applications, making obtaining a work visa difficult.
1. Germany

Germany offers a job seeker visa that allows individuals to reside in the country for up to six months while looking for employment. If a job is secured within the six-month period, the individual can apply for a German work visa.

2. Portugal
Portugal introduced its job seeker visa in June 2022, providing individuals with the opportunity to reside in the country and seek employment for up to 120 days, which is equivalent to four months. The visa can be renewed for an additional 60 days or two months and permits only one entry into Portugal.
3. United Arab Emirates
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) provides a job seeker visa to individuals who want to explore job opportunities in the country. The visa’s validity ranges from 60 to 120 days, i.e., two to four months, allowing holders to search for new job opportunities without a sponsor from UAE, but only for one trip.
4. Sweden

Sweden is one of the key destinations for skilled professionals looking to live and work abroad. With the introduction of the Sweden Job Seeker Visa, it has become easier for highly qualified persons to seek work or start a business in Sweden.

5. Austria
Austria offers a six-month job seeker visa to individuals it recognises as “very highly qualified workers”. To be eligible for this visa, an individual must achieve a minimum of 70 points based on specific criteria, such as qualification, work experience, language skills, age, and study experience in Austria.

Changes Explained!!!

Germany has introduced several new changes to its Blue Card, which is a European Union-wide residence permit designed particularly to attract highly qualified workers from third countries, in fields where there’s a shortage of labour in the EU countries.

The German government has approved last week several changes to its immigration policies, in a bid to attract more foreign workers.

The changes include a new job-seeker residence permit with a validity of three years, and the removal of several bureaucratic procedures, including here creating new facilitations for obtaining an EU Blue Card in Germany.

(For more information you can contact us)
Foreign students studying in Romanian universities can work part-time under a temporary residence permit for studies, without requiring an employment permit, for up to 4 hours per day. However, once they complete their studies, they need to obtain an employment permit from the Immigration Inspectorate in order to work in Romania. Non-EU students must also have their diplomas recognized by the National Centre for the Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas within the Ministry of National Education to gain access to the Romanian labor market. The individual employment contracts are suspended if the General Inspectorate for Immigration orders the foreigner to return and the employer is informed of this within 10 days.

Earlier this month, the Ministry of Culture and Innovation announced that the Erasmus+ programs of the EU will be eligible to continue operating in Hungary this year.

The Ministry also stressed that despite the fact that the EU Commission made a decision in December last year regarding public interest asset management foundations that perform general duties, such a decision had not affected the Erasmus program.

Last month, the European Commission announced that the budget of the Erasmus+ Annual Work Programme this year has been increased, reaching a total of €4.43 billion, accounting for the highest annual financial amount ever achieved by this program.

Greece : Foreigners sought to fill 80,000 tourism jobs!!!
www.movsquare.com
An anticipated record tourism year in Greece is facing a problem with a shortage of workers to staff facilities. These jobs, which offer low pay, long hours, no days off, and require workers to find their own accommodations, are being shunned by the Greeks. While the Tourism Ministry promotes the country’s attractions and provides enticing slogans as reasons to visit, the worker shortage is causing major headaches for hotels, restaurants, and tavernas, some of which rake in huge profits while evading taxes. As the spring season begins and a busy summer approaches, the government is signing deals with Egypt, Syria, Bangladesh, and even Pakistan, following the arrest of two Pakistanis in a terrorism plot.Workers are also needed in other fields, such as agriculture, to fill positions that Greeks are unwilling to take, despite high unemployment rates. There is also a need for employees in livestock and fisheries.
