Cluj-Napoca: hub al inovării și oraș al clusterelor. Conferința Internațională a Clusterelor din Transilvania

Am transmis astăzi un mesaj de bun venit la Cluj-Napoca celor peste 400 de participanți de pe 3 continente, veniți în orașul nostru pentru a participa la cea de-a 5-a ediție a Conferinței Internaționale a Clusterelor din Transilvania.

Am subliniat, în mesajul transmis, faptul că direcția de dezvoltare a Clujului ne poziționează ca un puternic hub al inovării și oraș al clusterelor, un centru de excelență pentru industriile creative cu o impresionantă vitalitate culturală. Datorită resursei umane capabile, unul dintre principalele atuuri ale orașului nostru este capacitatea de inovare și de adaptare la noile cerințe are pieței muncii.
În cadrul conferinței vor fi dezbătute cele mai noi tendințe din industriile cele mai active din regiunea Transilvaniei: IT, energie, agro-food, mobilier și industrii creative.

Municipalitatea clujeană va continua să susțină ecosistemul local de inovare și să sprijine demersurile clusterelor clujene în procesul de pregătire a orașului pentru provocările tehnologice ale viitorului precum: inteligență artificială, blockchain, Internet of things etc.

Transylvanian Clusters International Conference – TCIC2019 – este un eveniment anual realizat de Consorțiul Clusterelor din Transilvania de Nord, din care fac parte Cluster Mobilier Transilvan, Transilvania IT Cluster, Agro Transilvania Cluster, Transylvania Energy Cluster - TREC și Clusterul de Industrii Creative Transilvania.

Opening in a few days is Ms. Ulla Engelmann - Head of Unit, Advanced Technologies, Clusters and Social Economy

We are looking forward to follow her video message addressed to our participants!

Previously, she worked at the Joint Research Centre (JRC), the in-house science service of European Commission, in different head of unit functions. She managed the communication, inter-institutional, international and stakeholder units from 2004 until 2016.

She started in the JRC in Ispra (Italy) in 1993 as a post-doc, after her completion of her PhD in radiochemistry at the Technical University of Karlsruhe.

📌📌📌Join us for and meet Nigel Jones of Tech, Digital and Creative Department for International Trade – Northern Powerhouse Investment Hub.

Over nearly 20 years Nigel has gained international business experience working with some of the world’s largest multinationals through to owner managed SMEs and entrepreneurial start-ups. He has worked with and led multi-disciplinary teams that have secured inward investment projects on time and within budget across the UK. He works as part of a team of Sector Specialists, driving Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) into the North of England (The Northern Powerhouse). This is part of the wider rebalancing of the UK economy by attracting FDI opportunities from around the world that align with the primary economic capabilities of the North: Health Innovation, Energy, Manufacturing, Financial & Professional Services, all underpinned with by technology, digital and creative industries which Nigel leads on.

He has experience working with the Department for International Trade (DIT), EY, PA Consulting and in the tech sector where he worked for a cloud based, e-commerce and CRM software business selling monetisation solutions to the entertainment industry, which he helped to internationalise. He has previously account managed a plethora of foreign owned companies for DIT to ensure they maximised their potential across the UK.
