The source is somewhere inside the unit. Ground crews can't enter to find it.

The drone maps the plume from above,concentric passes, live VOC and H₂S readings, concentration gradient pointing directly at the source. By the time the flight ends, the location is georeferenced and the values are measured. No entry into the hazard zone and without to shutdown.

200 meters is not a lot of space between a squad and what they haven't seen yet.

The platform holds that gap. It stays ahead of the advance, reads the ground before the squad reaches it movement, vehicles, geometry that turns into an ambush if nobody calls it out in time. When contact appears, the callout happens. When contact moves, the platform tracks it. The squad adjusts without breaking stride.

What makes it work in a contested environment is what it doesn't do. True North keeps it on station through a preloaded map, no satellite, no uplink, no position broadcast. The threat has nothing to intercept because nothing was ever sent.

The squad gets eyes they don't have to carry and a signal nobody can find.

A volatile gas survey doesn't end with "there's a leak somewhere in this area."

The concentration map shows exactly where: cell-averaged PPM values across the surveyed zone, source localised to coordinates. The emission dataset plots TVOC readings against the regulatory limit across the full flight, every spike timestamped and georeferenced.

The difference between knowing gas is present and knowing where it's coming from, at what concentration, and whether it crosses the threshold and that's the difference between a concern and a decision.

The output of a survey is data you can act on.

The mission called for night survey of a defended area. The platform had one constraint that mattered more than any other: it could not be detected.

It launched low, under the radar horizon, and stayed there while it covered the approach. When the terrain offered shadow, it moved into it. When the vantage point required altitude, it climbed. Nobody told it when to do any of that. It decided, based on what the preloaded map said about the terrain and what the onboard sensors confirmed in real time.

The platform made every navigation and routing decision itself, using True North our module that runs on the existing camera and a preloaded map, without uplink, without operator guidance, without broadcasting its position to anyone.

The survey completed. The area never knew it had been surveyed.

Before a restoration begins, someone needs to know exactly what exists. The precise geometry of every cornice, every crack, every surface that's been accumulating damage since the last time anyone documented it properly.

Scaffolding changes the space. It blocks sightlines, restricts movement, and makes non-invasive capture impossible once it goes up. The survey happens before — while the building is still as-found, unaltered, fully accessible to the sensors.

Photogrammetry builds the textured 3D record. Damage mapping locates every anomaly with real coordinates. The archive copy preserves the building as it actually was before anyone touched it.

Restoration teams work from the model. Decisions get made on geometry, not memory.

The mission plan was set before launch. The target had shifted by the time the platform got there.

Most systems at that point wait for updated instructions which means a transmission, which means a signal, which means exposure. This one didn't wait. It saw the discrepancy between what it expected and what the preloaded map showed, re-planned the route in flight, navigated around a threat it was never briefed on, and reached the objective anyway.

Delivery accuracy came in under 5 meters. RF emitted was zero. Operator inputs, from launch to recovery, were also zero.

True North is a navigation module which runs on the platform's existing camera and a preloaded map, and it handles the rest autonomously. No uplink needed, no position updates, no guidance corrections mid-flight.

The platform knows where it is, figures out where it needs to go, and gets there without asking.

Stereo photogrammetry estimates where a curb is. LiDAR measures it.

That distinction matters when the data goes into a road design, an asset register, or a CAD environment where a few centimeters of error compounds across kilometers of infrastructure.

Aerial LiDAR captures the geometry directly: vegetation filtered, bare earth retained, planimetric features vectorised and ready for GIS or CAD.

The border patrol launched at dusk. Jamming started twenty minutes in.

GPS: jammed. Camera and map: locked. RF emitted: zero.

The platform kept the fence line, kept the coordinates, kept the footage georeferenced because True North, the navigation module running on it, stopped asking the satellite for position and started matching what the camera saw against a preloaded map.

Position held at ±3 meters for the duration of the patrol.

A quarry manager needs to know how much material has been extracted this month. The number that goes into the report, gets signed, and goes in front of an auditor.

The traditional answer involves a surveyor, a total station, several days of fieldwork across active benches, and a calculation that's already slightly outdated by the time it's finished.

4-5 flights can covers the entire pit. Stockpile volumes calculated from the point cloud. Bench geometry documented at every level. Contour plans generated directly from the surface model. The numbers are current, traceable, and formatted for the report.

The quarry doesn't stop. The survey happens around it.
