Component Introduction Engineer -APQP job profile
Job Description:
-Creation of Maturity Evaluations and Sourcing Decision Sheet
-Quality Request for New parts QRN creation towards to the suppliers, update of the QRN’s following new drawing revisions release.
-Definition based on Design specs and DRW
-Responsible for SCR Supplier Component Review and follow up of actions
-Contact with Project team and close collaboration with Purchasing, Design, Logistics. Participation in Project Team Meetings.
-Responsible with timing and deliverables of the supplier including tooling, FOT, Note3 parts and Note1 parts delivery.
-Participation in regular follow up meetings with SQM Project related to components status
-Timely accurate follow up of the project phases based on the project timing definition including tooling, FOT, Note3 parts and Note1 parts delivery.
-Safe launch concept definition
-Evaluation and approval of the PPAP and included documentation, PF, CP, PFMEA, MSA,SPC in accordance with Continental requirements.
-Handover to Supplier Quality Engineer Serial Production
-Usage of different Continental tools (on the job training will be provided)
Targets
APQP –on time in accordance with Project needs
Tooling tracking and parts on time in accordance with Project needs
PPAP’s fully approved in accordance with project timing.
