Italy is a key market in WALDEVAR’s international expansion. And we’re just getting started. 🇮🇹

These days, at Energyear Italia, we had the pleasure of speaking with Review Energy about our plans for the Italian market and the opportunities we see across utility-scale PV, agrivoltaics, floating PV, BESS and grid infrastructure.

Alberto Corò, Technical Director Italy at WALDEVAR Energy, discussed how we are bringing our engineering expertise and ex*****on capabilities to the Italian market, where we already have five photovoltaic projects underway in Calabria, totalling over 25 MW, with agrivoltaics and other energy segments opening up further opportunities. And this is just the beginning.

𝐖𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐩. 𝐖𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝. 𝐖𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝.

At the end of September, Energy Expo 2026 brought the energy industry together in Bucharest and WALDEVAR came with the technology, expertise and people behind our projects.

16 machines on display. A 1:1 floating PV system installed on water. WALDEVAR Robotics showcasing our robotic solutions. And, at the centre of it all, three days of high-level business discussions with developers, investors, technology partners and industry professionals.

We talked projects, investment, construction, storage, grid connection and the technical realities of delivering new energy capacity, exchanging insights and exploring concrete opportunities across the market.

For us, that is what an industry event should be: bringing the right people around the same table and turning expertise into business conversations.

Acesta a fost unul dintre mesajele transmise de Christian Leonte, CEO WALDEVAR Holding, la GOVNET Romania, în cadrul panelului „From Permit to Power Plant – EPC, Construction & Project Delivery”.

Cu aproximativ 25 de șantiere în construcție simultan, WALDEVAR vede direct cm crește complexitatea proiectelor, de la hibridizare și BESS la floating PV și infrastructură de rețea.

Pentru investitori și finanțatori, nu este important doar ce urmează să fie construit, ci și cine are capacitatea de a livra proiectul, de a-l opera și de a gestiona riscurile pe termen lung.

Experiența demonstrată în execuție, capacitatea de integrare a tehnologiilor și resursele operaționale pot face diferența în acest proces.

Tranziția energetică a României a ajuns într-un punct clar de cotitură: creșterea capacității de generare nu mai este suficientă dacă rețelele, stocarea și infrastructura nu țin pasul.

În cele trei zile de discuții cu partenerii și investitorii la Energy Expo 2026, ne-am concentrat exclusiv pe execuție și integrare.
Vedem această realitate zi de zi la WALDEVAR. Cu peste 4 GW de proiecte contractate, generarea, stocarea și racordarea la rețea nu mai pot fi tratate separat. Acestea trebuie construite și livrate împreună.
