Crocus Expo, Moscow, Russia- 01 April 2026, Mr. Jawad Rehman Slehria, President of the Business Association for Cooperation with Pakistan (BACP), welcomed participants from Sialkot, Pakistan, at MosFit Expo Moscow 2026 held at Crocus Expo, Moscow, and commended their active contribution to one of the region’s prominent international trade platforms.
Addressing participants, exhibitors, and business representatives, Mr. Slehria praised the commitment of the Pakistani delegation and recognized the efforts of organizers and stakeholders in making the exhibition a valuable platform for international commercial engagement. He underscored the importance of such high-profile exhibitions in fostering business dialogue, strengthening partnerships, and opening new channels of trade cooperation.
Mr. Slehria emphasized that participation in international trade exhibitions such as MosFit Expo Moscow 2026 demonstrates the growing interest of Pakistani enterprises in expanding their reach into global markets and building sustainable partnerships with Russian counterparts. He noted that these engagements are particularly important at a time when businesses must adopt strategic and practical approaches to navigate the impact of international sanctions and changing market realities.
He further stated that enhanced collaboration through business-to-business platforms can play a significant role in advancing Pakistan–Russia bilateral trade, particularly by encouraging sector-focused networking, promoting investment dialogue, and identifying new commercial opportunities. According to Mr. Slehria, stronger institutional and private-sector engagement can help unlock untapped trade potential between the two countries and contribute to long-term economic cooperation.
Highlighting the participation of businesses from Sialkot, one of Pakistan’s leading export and manufacturing hubs, Mr. Slehria noted that the presence of Pakistani companies at the exhibition reflects the country’s industrial capability, export potential, and readiness to engage with international markets in a meaningful and forward-looking manner.
He added that exhibitions of this nature offer an important opportunity for Pakistani and Russian stakeholders to exchange market knowledge, explore joint ventures, and develop mutually beneficial partnerships across key sectors. Such initiatives, he said, are essential for building trust, expanding connectivity, and strengthening economic relations between Pakistan and the Russian Federation.
BACP remains committed to promoting constructive commercial engagement, supporting Pakistani businesses in international markets, and encouraging initiatives that deepen economic understanding and long-term cooperation between Pakistan and Russia.
