The application period has concluded for the Bridge Awards, which honors the contributions of foreign citizens and repatriates who have made a definitive life choice in favor of Russia. A total of 108 candidates from 41 countries are competing for victory across 12 categories, plus the A. Stieglitz Special Award. As a result, the project features participants from every continent except Australia.

The applicants include world-renowned celebrities. For example, Jeff Monson, a former American mixed martial arts fighter and currently a Russian politician and public figure, is competing for the award in the "Sports and Healthy Lifestyle" category.

Among the entrepreneurs are Briton David Henderson-Stewart, who revived the legendary Raketa Watch Factory, and Stanislav Kondov from Bulgaria, General Manager of a hospitality cluster that includes the Radisson Collection Hotel (formerly the Hotel Ukraine) and the Radisson Slavyanskaya.

Among the contenders for the "Community Activity and Charity" award are Pierre de Gaulle, the grandson of Charles de Gaulle, alongside Ahmed bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani, the Ambassador of Qatar to Russia.

“The geography of the award and the level of participants exceeded our highest expectations, and we witnessed immense interest in this project, which is significant for international cooperation. This proves that Russia continues to be a major center of attraction for talented and ambitious individuals from across the globe,” stated Sergei Georgievskii, representative of the award operator and Co-founder of the “CENTER” Agency for Strategic Development.

The award’s Expert Council has already begun selecting the top 5 contenders in each category. Each of the top 5 award contenders will receive an invitation to the gala award ceremony, which will take place on June 18 at the Hotel Continental in Moscow.

Starting from 00:00 MSK on May 16 (21:00 GMT on May 15), the Bridge Awards project enters a new phase: the application submission window closes, and the organizing committee begins processing the entries. At this stage, the only thing we can share is that the award's geographical reach has exceeded all expectations, with entries coming from dozens of countries across the globe.

Starting as early as the 18th, the award’s expert council will begin selecting the top 5 nominees in each of the 12 categories. At this point, the applications from foreigners and repatriates who have tied their lives and businesses to Russia will be evaluated, for instance, by Mikhail Khomich, Chief Strategist at VEB.RF; Darya Turbina, Head of the Analytical Center of the Moscow Innovation Cluster; and Shirinbek Olimi, a renowned surgeon and phlebolgist.

Each of the top five will receive an invitation to the gala award ceremony, which will take place on June 18 at Moscow's Hotel Continental, serving not only as an evening to honor the winners but also as a massive platform for building business and personal connections with remarkable people from all over the world.

To participate in the project, which is officially supported by the Russian Foreign Ministry, Agency for Strategic Initiatives, and the Moscow Government, all you need to do is fill out the form on the award's website at bridgeaward.ru. The process takes just a few minutes and opens up excellent opportunities to showcase yourself and become a member of a community for whom Russia has become a new home.

Maria Zakharova, Spokeswoman for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, shared details regarding the Bridge Awards during an MFA briefing. Speaking in Izhevsk, she encouraged both potential applicants and foreign media outlets to participate in the event.

“Throughout history, the Russian state and its capital, Moscow, have served as a global centre of attraction for outstanding minds and talents from around the world. By integrating into Russian society, foreign architects (one need only recall Bartolomeo Rastrelli), as well as scientists, entrepreneurs, diplomats and figures in the arts, have made an invaluable contribution to the country’s development. They received gratitude from our country regardless of historical circumstances. … In addition to those wishing to take part in the award itself, we invite media representatives to cover the event, especially foreign journalists who write about Russia,” stated Maria Zakharova.

The Russian MFA acts as the information partner for the awards. The Ministry's Spokeswoman reminded that applications can be submitted through May 11, by filling out the relevant form on the awards' website bridgeaward.ru. The jury meeting will be held on May 27, and the official awards ceremony will take place on June 18.

“Please come, visit, see for yourselves, write and conduct interviews. I’m confident that among the laureates there will be many truly worthy foreign nationals living or working in Moscow who make a major contribution to maintaining and expanding international ties,” noted Maria Zakharova.

A new award has been established in Moscow for foreign citizens who have chosen Russia: the 1st International Bridge Awards for contributions to the development of Moscow’s cultural and business ties. The project is being implemented with the support of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of the City of Moscow and the Moscow Center for International Cooperation; the Strategic Initiative Agency (ASI) serves as the strategic partner for the award.

The award aims to highlight the contributions of foreign nationals and repatriates to the development of Moscow and Russia, helping to preserve the memory of Russia’s historical appeal to outstanding foreigners and their roles in the country’s history. The initiative seeks to support the integration of foreigners and their family members into Russian society, foster an active international community connected to Moscow and Russia, and enhance the tools of public and cultural diplomacy.

The award was initiated by The Bridge Club, a social and business platform that brings together foreign nationals living and working in Moscow, as well as Russian professionals interested in international cooperation. The community includes over 700 foreigners living and working in Russia. The founders of the award are entrepreneur and former politician Philip Hutchinson, and public figure Guy Eames, who is the founder and curator of The Bridge Club. The Bridge Awards is operated by the Agency for Strategic Development “CENTER”.

The award features 12 categories, including Entrepreneurship, Culture, Science and Innovation, Social Work, and Traditional Values. Additionally, a special award is named after Alexander Stieglitz, an outstanding Russian financier, statesman, and philanthropist of foreign descent.

Applications for the award will be accepted until May 11 inclusive. The jury meeting is scheduled for May 27. The formal award ceremony will take place on June 18, preceded by a plenary session on international cooperation.

Dear colleagues, partners, and friends!

The first quarter of the 21st century is coming to a close very soon! As an organization whose motto is "Designing lifestyle," we are well aware of Fortune's fickleness and that the surprises she brings can be both pleasant and not so pleasant.

While awaiting the change of the calendar cycle, one can dwell on how difficult the outgoing year was, or one can remember what was accomplished during this time.

The Center for Strategic Development completed 11 public projects in 2025—as many as the years our company has been in existence. Among them are three research studies, an equal number of competitions and forums, two master plans, as well as an educational project that will continue into the next year.

We are grateful to everyone who shared our successes and helped us overcome difficulties!

May the coming year present you with tasks as ambitious as the plans of the Presidential Academy, for which we helped select a campus modernization concept. May they be as large-scale as our research "MOSCOW RE: INDUSTRIAL 2.0." We wish for your lives to improve just as Moscow has during the implementation of the "My District" program, whose effectiveness we helped the city authorities evaluate.

And even if the stars suddenly turn away from you, remember that strength lies in people, as it does for the Siberian cities for which we developed master plans.

"СENTER" begins the second decade of its history: on December 22, our company turns 11 years old!

"СENTER" Agency was established at the end of 2014. Since then, we have been shaping trends and strategies, creating master plans and concepts. Our development programs have helped regions across the country become better! "СENTER" experts have visited 65 regions and 92 cities in Russia, developing more than 150 projects covering vast territories from the Baltic Sea to the Pacific Ocean.

In 2025, the Agency completed 11 public projects – the same number as the years our company has been in existence. These include three research studies, the same number of competitions and forums, and two master plans. We launched an educational course for students of an architectural university, which will continue next year.

But our greatest asset is our people, which is why we talk not only about new projects but also about the active participation of our experts in professional forums, sessions, and discussions. We are proud that the leading specialists in the field of urban consulting have always been and remain a significant part of our team. We are always happy to share knowledge with partners and exchange experience with colleagues!

It is their ideas, aspirations, and knowledge that enable us to create new approaches and practices, and to remain leaders as the world around us changes so rapidly.
