Last weekend in Gakenke District, SBL, in partnership with FXB Rwanda, kicked off a tree distribution initiative that will see 23,868 trees planted across Gakenke and Nyabihu

The first phase began with over 12,000 trees distributed and planted to support better nutrition and greener communities.

Over 12,000 trees were distributed in the first phase, including fruit trees to enhance household diets and agroforestry trees to help protect the land and reduce soil erosion.

A shared effort rooted in healthier families and greener communities.
