Today, Meridian Quality Management Professionals has the honour of recognising JAWAID DANISH Sahib for his distinguished contribution to to playwright, literature, poetry, drama, storytelling, and travel writing.
As a celebrated dramatist and Dastango, Jawaid Danish Sahib has used literature and theatre not simply to entertain, but to explore society, identity, human relationships, and issues that deserve greater understanding.
His contribution also extends to travelogue writing, through works such as Aawargi and Mazeed Aawargi, where he captures his journeys, observations, and encounters with different places and cultures through his distinctive literary voice.
Among his most meaningful works is ''Yes, My Son Razi Is Autistic,โ a deeply moving work that raises awareness and encourages greater empathy and understanding toward autism. The work has been translated into 19 languages, allowing its message to reach audiences far beyond Urdu.
His contribution to the literary and cultural world is far greater than what a single recognition can express. Our award is only a small gesture of appreciation; the respect behind it is much greater.
