From Changzhou to Saudi Arabia, exploring new possibilities in energy storage.

Desert Technologies joined EnerVenue for the opening of its high-volume manufacturing line in China and signed an MoU to explore opportunities in the Kingdom, with a planned 215 kWh pilot in Q1 2027.

Together, we aim to explore how its Aqueous Metal Cell technology can support telecom, mining, oil and gas, data centers, and minigrids.

شاركت تكنولوجيات الصحراء شركة EnerVenue افتتاح خط إنتاجها بكميات كبيرة في الصين، ووقّعت مذكرة تفاهم لاستكشاف الفرص في المملكة، مع التخطيط لمشروع تجريبي بسعة 215 كيلوواط ساعة في الربع الأول من عام 2027.

ونسعى معًا لاستكشاف تطبيقات تقنية الخلايا المعدنية المائية في قطاعات الاتصالات والتعدين والنفط والغاز ومراكز البيانات والشبكات المصغّرة.

As part of the forum, Mr. Khaled AlShuwaier, CEO of Power Division, joined the panel discussion “People, Planet and the Just Transition,” exploring how organizations can balance progress, sustainability, and meaningful impact for people and communities.

Desert Technologies is proud to join the Global CSR Forum 2026 as the Sustainability Sponsor, taking place on 5–6 October at the Sofitel Riyadh Hotel and Convention Centre.

Held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and hosted by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.

During the forum, Khaled AlShuwaier, CEO of Power Sector at Desert Technologies, will join the panel discussion:

Nurun’s early standard wasn’t built only on theories, It was built on ground.
In 2015, Shamsuna marked the beginning of the journey.
Located in Aqaba, Jordan, this 10.08 MWp solar plant was one of the country’s pioneering photovoltaic projects under its first solar procurement round. Delivered as a full turnkey EPC project in partnership with Enerray SpA, it reflected early ex*****on, real responsibility, and infrastructure built to perform where it matters most.
With over 40,000 solar panels and clean power delivered to Jordan’s national grid, Shamsuna wasn’t just an early project. It was the foundation of how we work until today: real deployment, reliable delivery, and systems engineered for actual operating conditions.

في عام 2015، مشروع Shamsuna كانت بداية هذه الرحلة.
يقع المشروع في العقبة، الأردن، وهو محطة طاقة شمسية بقدرة 10.08 ميجاواط، ويُعد من أوائل مشاريع الطاقة الكهروضوئية في المملكة ضمن أول جولة لشراء الطاقة الشمسية.
تم تنفيذ المشروع بنظام EPC متكامل بالشراكة مع Enerray SpA، ليعكس منذ البداية قدرة حقيقية على التنفيذ، وتحمل المسؤولية، وبناء بنية تحتية قادرة على الأداء في المواقع التي تحتاج إلى حلول موثوقة.
وبأكثر من 40,000 لوح شمسي، وطاقة نظيفة تم ضخها في الشبكة الوطنية الأردنية، لم يكن Shamsuna مجرد مشروع مبكر.
بل كان الأساس لطريقة عملنا حتى اليوم:
