Full Knowledge Transfer
Extensive and just-in-time training is one of the hallmarks of an organization’s sustained ability to understand SAP functionalities, deploy optimum functions and be able to utilize SAP in the business successfully.
As part of the SAP implementation, the Project Core Team from Customer will be trained on the relevant modules. We will deliver training in three stages.
The three stage Training approach is designed to grow the Project Team’s knowledge of SAP. The training is delivered to coincide with certain phases with the Customer Project Plan and included accordingly.
Level 1 Training
Delivery as part of Project Preparation. At the end of Level 1, participants will know what SAP is, the functions available and how it will relate to the Customer’s Business. Duration of this training is 1 day. Level 1 is designed to give participants an overall feel for SAP and afterwards participants will know the overall functionality available. This is delivered as part of project kick-off to set the scene for the coming project
Level 2 Training
Delivery at the beginning of the Business process development, within the Business Blueprint phase. Scope of this training is to provide an overview of each module. Duration will vary for each module depending on the range of functionalities to be implemented at Customer. Level 2 is specifically targeted at Project team members.
The course goals are
• to give participants conceptual information on the module
• to gain a basic level of knowledge on core functions and processes
• some hands-on experience of SAP where applicable.
Level 2 training is designed to give participants enough information to bring them up to speed with SAP terminology, SAP screens, Basic Navigation on SAP and how a company’s business processes are reflected in SAP functions.
This training is essential before detailed Level 3 Training. For Team members this training is essential to help develop the Blueprint and as a basis for further training.
Level 3 Training
Delivery is part of Realization phase. Within this phase, project team members need a detailed understanding of SAP to meet Customer Business process requirements to allow them to assist in the and testing of the Business solutions designed in the Blueprint phase and deliver end user training to Customer team members. ‘Train-thetrainer’ concept would be adopted in this training.
Level 3 Training is targeted at Project Team members. It will describe the particular module in depth, customized to satisfy Customer’s requirements. It is hands-on training with exercises and evaluations.
At the close of Level 3, participants should have a detailed understanding of how the module works. The training will be similar to Customer business processes. This training is essential for Key users to be able to participate productively in the Realization phase for unit and integration testing and End User Training Development. Ongoing, as we realize the Customer SAP solution, team members will develop further knowledge and experience.
Technical Training
Technical training relating to BASIS (SAP core technology component) administration, transport management system will be provided to Customer’s technical team members.
Training will also cover development of SAP SAPscript to develop forms and developing reports using ABAP queries and other features of the ABAP language.
The training will be a combination of formal classroom training and hands on training.
