Triomada Plastic International Company was established in 2006 for production of stretch wrap polyethylene film in Saudi Arabia. We were originally a joint venture company, between Trioplast Industrier AB in Smålandsstenar, Sweden and Al-Rajhi Holding Group. The Triomada factory and headquarters are located in Jubail Industrial City and has been in operation since 2008. The current name plate capa

city is approx. 35,000 tonnes per annum. Triomada is specialised in the production of five-layer cast pallet wrap stretch film, using state of the art technology. The focussed range of products is currently Triomada® 100, 200, 250, 300 and 400, in jumbo-, machine- and hand-rolls, with thicknesses ranging from 15 to 50 microns. The company sells its products directly into the major markets of Europe and to the rest of the world through Triomada’s own distributors, managed from Jubail. The majority of the production is currently sold to Europe. The company will expand from the current 35,000 tonnes, initially to 50,000 tonnes.

There can be no benefit in Triomada and others making oxo-biodegradable stretch film until we can change the culture in Saudi Arabia and stop people treating the country like a giant trash can. Triomada has installed plastic bins all around our factory but truck drivers merely eat their food and throw the waste onto the street, even though the trash bins are within plain sight. Disgusting behaviour.
