QuickWins Contributes to Supporting Egypt's Digital Transformation Units
Under the umbrella of the Supporting e-Government and Innovation in the Public Administration project (InnoPA), implemented by GIZ in partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and co-funded by the European Union, QuickWins provided advisory services to enhance the performance of Information Systems and Digital Transformation Units in ministries in the New Capital.
The project aimed to develop an updated operating model and a practical roadmap for implementing it, enabling the units to lead digital transformation in line with Egypt Vision 2030.
In this context, the QuickWins team emphasizes that successful digital transformation starts with alignment and coordination between institutions. According to the UN E-Government Survey 2024, Egypt climbed to 95th globally in the E-Government Development Index, up from 111th in 2020, and rose to 74th in the E-Participation Index from 107th in 2022. Sustaining this momentum requires institutions equipped to lead transformation. QuickWins is proud to contribute to this with its partners by empowering the DTUs at the heart of Egypt's digital government.
