Network Engineer - Riyadh

Neusol is looking for a talented Network Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate shall be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure to ensure reliable and efficient connectivity.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain customer Network and Collaboration infrastructure
- Perform baseline network and voice administration including MACDs related to firewall, routing, switching, IPSEC, CUCM, CUCX, UCCX
- Perform baseline administration of VoIP, ISDN, Analog or PTSN as well as IVRs
- Perform incident management on wide variety of issues impacting Network and Collaboration infrastructure or that are result of failure in its operation
- Experience in the design, implementation, transformation, troubleshooting and support of technologies including VOIP, IPT, collaboration tools, Audio/Video Conferencing
- Execute Network and Collaboration infrastructure maintenance processes as required by customer
- Performs troubleshooting with carriers and vendors regarding network hardware and circuit issues
- Actively contribute to the configuration, layout and performance tuning of the managed Network and Collaboration infrastructure
- Build and maintain documentation for customer Network and Collaboration infrastructure
- Implement, and support WLANs by performing and documenting 802.11 wireless surveys
- Support high-capacity WLAN controllers and over thousands of AP over multiple (local) locations.
- Use Air Magnet Survey and Spectrum Analyzer, analyzing collected RF data to determine cell boundaries, AP power settings, and noise and interference sources is preferred, but not required. Will determine AP placements and deploy APs, and perform post- implementation surveys in order to optimize WLAN performance.
- Diagnose difficult network performance problems and interact with application support teams to diagnose network or application performance issues. Must know how to quickly trouble-shoot network issues related to asymmetry.
- Trouble-shoot and validate specialized with Wi-Fi client devices such as Cisco IP phones, Samsung and Apple tablets, WYSE terminals and biomedical equipment.
- Performs hands-on (installation, configuration, maintaining/upgrade IOS and router/switch configuration) implementation of network infrastructure including core switches, edge switches, routers,
- bandwidth management appliances, and related hardware and software.
- Maintains and manages network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and Cisco Prime Infrastructure including understanding Windows Server Operating System and Microsoft Active Directory, DNS and DHCP
- Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers,
- switches, WAN accelerators Configure, install, troubleshoot various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPN), LAN, and WAN
- Implement and maintain an enterprise network environment to include Cisco routers, Cisco switches (Multi-Layer, Data Center/ Access/Core/ Distribution), firewalls and software defined access

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, information technology, computer science, or similar.
- Applicable licensing, certification, and registration.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Voice & Collaboration environment, Wireless LAN.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience deploying Network Access Control for secure network access.
- Routing protocols – MPLS, BGP and OSPF
- Network protocols – Spanning Tree, VLANs, 802.1Q, and VPC

The contents of the RAM are lost when the router is restarted or powered OFF. NVRAM: It stores the startup configuration.NVRAM configuration remain even after the router is power off or reboot. Flash Memory: In Flash Memory CISCO IOS Image (ie. OS of router)store. The configuration of Flash memory remain even after reboot or shut down. RXBOOT Image: This is a cut down version of the IOS located in the routers ROM Buses: We have system and CPU Buses in routers to move bits among the different components of the router. System bus communicates between the CPU and the Interfaces. Interfaces: They are physical connectors that connect the router to the network for IP packet entry and exit. Power Supply: The power supplies can be internal or external to the router. Some routers have multiple power supply for redundancy. Configuration Register: Routers use a 16 bit software configuration register with which you can set specific system parameters. And It will store in NVRAM. Example : The Factory-default setting of the configuration register is 0*2102. Router Modes There are Mainly 5 modes in Router: • User Mode (Default Mode): In this mode we can do some basic monitoring. • Privileged Mode: In this mode we can do monitoring and some troubleshooting. We can run some cmds such as clock, ping, Telnet, Save, Show, history etc. Global Configuration Mode: In this mode we can do All configuration that effect the router globally. Interface Mode: In this Mode configurations done on the specific interface. Rommon Mode: We use this mode Generally when we want password recovery. Thanks.
