Job description:
GEOUNIT Manager will lead and manage all aspects of production within the section to deliver an effective and efficient operation against daily and shift targets and plans whilst providing a centre of excellence approach.
He will also manage the Line Leaders ensuring that quality and health & safety standards are achieved and maintained and that Line Teams are trained in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, Health & Safety Procedures and Product Specifications.
Responsibilities:
*Coordinating program staffing needs and optimizing staffing across skills and experience to meet demand of mission area.
*Assure that he has enough line workers to complete the amount of work required for his shift.
*Accommodate or improvise any shortages in staff due to vacation, illness, or personal difficulties.
*Confer with other section managers in order to assure that each section's line quotas are working in line with one another.
*Conduct quality inspections.
*Set production standards for his section.
*Train new employees.
*Must have demonstrable expertise in space systems, systems engineering, production support, and leadership experience.
*Responsible for developing and maintaining the technical roadmaps for the capabilities offered by their section.
*Manage and motivate the team to meet sales targets and margin and ensure efficiency.
*Manage and ensure proper stock management (stock value, control out of stock, orders and merchandise deliveries) in coordination with the section supervisors.
*Ensure all hygiene, safety requirements and standards of preparation, preservation and necessary packaging are adhered to.
Requirements:
*Bachelor’s degree in business management (preferred) or any related field. Master degree is a plus.
*Minimum of 5 years experience in business management analysis, and/or verification.
*Demonstrated leadership experience in the range of system management processes, including requirements definition, design, test planning, test ex*****on, data analysis, and operations support
*Experience in preparing and delivering briefings to management and customers.
*Demonstrated desire to successfully pursue new challenges, improve and broaden technical skills, seek greater responsibilities, and increase individual value to the organization
*Excellent leadership & communication skills.
