Our Client international company working in Freight Forwarding – Logistics & Supply Chain looking for Sales Manager
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Provide an overview of the job, its context, and the contribution that it makes.
The position is a link between Carrier and Shipper, and delivers products to customers in an effective manner maximizing revenue for the firm. The essential job duties include relationship management, sales organization engagement, new business integration, business/technical support, account
profitability support, and high-level issue resolution whilst ensuring timely delivery and smooth interaction between the different parties involved; the operations team, procurement team, shipper and buyer.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Achieving sales goals through hands on market planning, personal sales ex*****on, and development of business relationships with key customers (Exporters & Importers), new business, and retention for International (Exports & Imports), Domestic & Cross border cargo
• Will be responsible for Increasing the Market Share of the Company in the assigned territory in CEP (Courier, express, Parcel) segment and in Freight forwarding.
• Take up additional sales tasks / projects as required to meet the Company’s needs.
• Correspond with Regional Business Development Manager on a weekly basis for TP customer onboarding, Volume projections, pipeline management and resolving service oriented issues. Also, provide weekly performance reports for their teams.
• Creating informative presentations; Presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences.
• In addition to on- boarding new clients, Managers will be responsible to harbor and grow the existing business flow in order to achieve financial and organizational goal.
• Should have an extensive pipeline of customers in the assigned zone for better market pe*******on.
• Coordinate with operations, CFSD, CSSV and other departments to manage and resolve team’s issues.
• Cater to all of customers’ queries and individual requests in order to provide the best possible service-oriented experience.
• Assist CFSD to recover outstanding dues (old and current) from existing credit customers.

EXPERIENCE
1. 3 to 10 years’ experience in a Sales based profile.
2. Good network with liners, airlines etc and a robust knowledge of all processes involved.
EDUCATION
Indicate the level of education required.
1. Bachelor’s degree in any field.
2. Fluent in English and should be currently employed in the same or a similar field.
3. Flexible to travel and relocate as per company requirement
