It’s with a really heavy heart that we're writing this.
​As many of you know, our Fitz had been fighting various health issues for quite some time, and today, at 74 years young, his battle finally came to an end. His son has asked us to let you all know that we lost him this morning.
​He was a great friend, a dad, a grandfather, and a mentor. He was a man who honestly deserved a better send-off than a Facebook post, but here we are.
He spent his last moments surrounded by his amazing son, friends, his team, and plenty of well wishes.
​From his time at No More Secrets & Lies and Predator Exposure, to fulfilling his dream of starting his own team, Cease & Desist, and eventually merging with us...not to mention all the other teams he helped along the way, Fitz was responsible for exposing countless individuals and ensuring they saw the inside of a courtroom.
Fitz was without doubt the most prolific decoy around with the best part of a decade under his belt. We learnt so much from him...a truly amazing man and he's now finally at peace.
Even when he "retired," he never really stopped...no matter how much we told him to have a bloody day off. He’d still pipe up every few months out of nowhere and go, "Right, I’ve got another four ready to go."
​When he was fit enough, he stayed involved behind the scenes-offering guidance, liaising with the police and courts, and training up new decoys. He was always involved in any way he could be, even if it was just making a nuisance of himself one way or another!
​He spoke very highly of many of you, and the close relationships he built brought him a lot of comfort right up to the end.
​Fitz was interviewed recently for a podcast, and we’ve post the link if you’d like a little insight into his life as a decoy.
He leaves behind a huge legacy that will no doubt live on for years to come.
​We’ll be making a toast with one of his favourite beverages (tea or whiskey!) and using his favourite catchphrase... the self-proclaimed "fiddle-weight boxing champion at catching nonces."
