⚖️ SENTENCING UPDATE: SIMON SHIPPEY - RETFORD, NOTTINGHAMSHIRE ⚖️

​Following the conclusion of a case at Nottingham Crown Court, here is the official update regarding Simon Shippey.

​He appeared in court and pleaded guilty to multiple serious child s*xual offences, including attempting s*xual communication with a child, attempting to facilitate child s*x offences, making indecent images of children, and possessing extreme po*******hy.

🚩​Total Custodial Period: 10 Years
Under UK sentencing law for an extended sentence, the 10-year total custodial period handed down by the judge breaks down as follows:

​6 Years (Prison Term): The actual prison sentence to be served in custody before being considered for release.

​4 Years (Extended Licence): Extra strict supervision added to the end of his prison term to monitor him in the community once released.

​10 Years (Total Court Control): The full period he remains under strict legal conditions. Any breach of rules or attempt to contact a child during these 10 years will result in an immediate recall to prison.

🚩​Court Orders & Restrictions:

​Sex Offender Register: Placed on the register indefinitely (for life).

​Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO): Strict lifetime restrictions active until further order, including:

​Strict limits on using technology and the internet, with mandatory police inspection of any device.

​A total ban on using Snapchat, deleting internet histories, or hiding online activity.
​Mandatory disclosure of all social media and messaging accounts/passwords to the police.

​A complete ban on contacting or having unsupervised access to any child under 18, and a ban on living in a household with children without social services approval.

🚩​Property Forfeiture: All mobile devices used in the offences were confiscated by police for permanent destruction.

​The legal proceedings for this case are now fully concluded. Thank you to everyone who supported the process throughout.

It’s with a really heavy heart that we're writing this.
​As many of you know, our Fitz had been fighting various health issues for quite some time, and today, at 74 years young, his battle finally came to an end. His son has asked us to let you all know that we lost him this morning.

​He was a great friend, a dad, a grandfather, and a mentor. He was a man who honestly deserved a better send-off than a Facebook post, but here we are.
He spent his last moments surrounded by his amazing son, friends, his team, and plenty of well wishes.

​From his time at No More Secrets & Lies and Predator Exposure, to fulfilling his dream of starting his own team, Cease & Desist, and eventually merging with us...not to mention all the other teams he helped along the way, Fitz was responsible for exposing countless individuals and ensuring they saw the inside of a courtroom.
Fitz was without doubt the most prolific decoy around with the best part of a decade under his belt. We learnt so much from him...a truly amazing man and he's now finally at peace.

Even when he "retired," he never really stopped...no matter how much we told him to have a bloody day off. He’d still pipe up every few months out of nowhere and go, "Right, I’ve got another four ready to go."
​When he was fit enough, he stayed involved behind the scenes-offering guidance, liaising with the police and courts, and training up new decoys. He was always involved in any way he could be, even if it was just making a nuisance of himself one way or another!

​He spoke very highly of many of you, and the close relationships he built brought him a lot of comfort right up to the end.

​Fitz was interviewed recently for a podcast, and we’ve post the link if you’d like a little insight into his life as a decoy.

He leaves behind a huge legacy that will no doubt live on for years to come.

​We’ll be making a toast with one of his favourite beverages (tea or wh***ey!) and using his favourite catchphrase... the self-proclaimed "fiddle-weight boxing champion at catching nonces."

Who remembers the 'delightful' Courtney Richman from Welwyn Garden City?

🚩Exposed for her disgusting communication and sending explicit videos to what she believed to be a 13 year old child (still awaiting an update).

🚩​Unknown to us at the time, Courtney had been given a caution in June 2020 for an assault which caused a bruise to one of her children. Since the exposure she was also found guilty of criminal damage in October 2023. (Source: R v Courtney Richman sentencing remarks, 31.05.24).

🚩​If this isn't bad enough, she was also involved in an incident in 2021 which resulted in the death of an elderly Alzheimer's sufferer. See the ITV news report below.
