Sakura Leader- سفينة العام
في مايو 2021 ، حصلت سفينة الشحن "ساكورا ليدر" المملوكة لشركة نيبون يوسين كايشا (NYK) على جائزة "سفينة العام" من قبل الجمعية اليابانية للهندسة البحرية.

Sakura Leader - Ship of the Year
In May 2021, the 'Sakura Leader', a cargo vessel owned by Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK) was given the 'Ship of the Year' award by the Japanese Society of Marine Engineering.
The vessel is equipped with Terasaki circuit breakers, both ACBs and MCCBs as well as an integrated monitoring and control system, TERANET50X.
Sakura Leader was the first large-scale liquified natural gas fueled vessel to be built in Japan, and was selected for the award due to efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. It is deemed as a model project as it reduces CO2 emissions during voyages by making use of an alternative fuel. It is a next-generation eco-friendly ship that makes it possible to reduce the use of air pollutants, compared with conventional ships that use heavy oil as fuel.
This is the latest project in which Terasaki continues its 'net zero' commitment as part of the climate change solution.
