Jag säger bara ”wow”! Vilken vacker bild! (Och respektingivande...)

For the next week, we at WildPhoto Travel will be posting composition images from our two professional photography hosts with a small inside thought as to why they chose to capture the specific picture in such a manner.

These images are all from our Svalbard 2020 Season. As you can imagine with 6 successful expeditions, having Polar bears on each one and keeping our clients COVID FREE, there are many images to work through.

This image was captured by He quotes “ viewing a polar bear from this angle enhances the masculinity of these creatures, the sun highlighting its fur. The sunlight brightens the water giving the image depth with colour and perspective of the habitat the polar bears live.”

Jag har just lyssnat ikapp avsnitt från Lev Podcast, en podd om hur "fan man lever i Gällivare". Det vill säga min födelseort. Podden handlar om att lyfta det positiva med Gällivare, men i det sista (?) avsnittet intervjuas Kirunafotografen Rebecca Lundh. Rebecca pratar om utmaningen att ta plats i ett mansdominerande yrke, och att bryta normen om hur en fotograf bör vara. Rekommenderas!
