Liu is an associate professor of Supply Chain Analytics at the Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow. His research focuses on supply chain analytics, supply network configuration and sustainable Supply Chain Management. His book is available in Sweden at Bokus. Kurt Y. Accessible yet rigorous, this text introduces students to the relevant concepts and techniques needed for data analysis and decision making in modern supply chains and enables them to develop proficiency in a popular and powerful programming software. The book is to be released in early 2022. Very soon available at least on Bokus in Sweden!

Road conditions as snow and ice, driving the trucks can be incredibly dangerous.
Reduced production caused by winter weather conditions can shut down more than the efficient movement of freight. It can also shut down the production of perishable products including meat, frozen foods, dairy, and other perishable items.
The Supply can be reduced when production is reduced, the supply of available products is delayed. Unfortunately, most manufacturers can’t increase production to stay ahead of poor weather, so it usually causes a reduction in the supply.
Increased prices as supply are reduced and consumer demand stays equal, the natural law of supply and demand dictates that the cost of goods will be increased.

How to be both a consultant and work on your own brand?

There are so many blogs and articles about personal brands – personal brand examples, personal brands on social media, or tips for building a personal brand. However, sometimes they miss the mark completely. Marketing tools and strategies are used to connect with your customers to persuade them to buy your goods or services. Branding, on the other hand, is about defining who you are. It is about your mission and values and what makes you unique and distinct.

How about entrepreneurs with their vision? It is not so easy to grow and be a start-up to build your own name as a brand.
Marketing is about sales, and we have much more startups today in Sweden from people who have employment and have their own visions and work.

In the beginning, as a startup company, you have very limited resources, but visioneers are believing in what they are doing and can visualize the goal they can achieve. It makes our Swedish economy running with the new successful companies. Marketing tools and strategies are not like yesterday they are different today for example how to handle digital marketing and a tool like LinkedIn are more modern.

You can like it or not, but they are used to connect with your customers to persuade them to buy your goods or services. Branding, on the other hand, is about defining who you are. It Is about your mission and values and what makes you unique and distinct. It can help to show the world what your passion is about. It is important to differentiate a company from a personal brand even if it is a Startup company.

To be an entrepreneur and to build a startup company requires some time and effort and is not always welcome by your employers. You can get a lot of challenges to handle because not everyone is visioneers. To be an entrepreneur is always about finding a balance between different legal policies and personal opinions. How does it feel for you to be or not to be a visioneer or entrepreneur?
