24 ft Misil I is the smallest boat ever built by the yard. 120 Misil I were built from 1964 until 1972.

The Misil I is a fore-runner to the more well-known Misil II. Using almost the same hull, the Misil I has a mahogany superstructure and a different type of interior. The superstructure is placed more forward on the Misil I than on the Misil II.

The Misil hull is very modern for her age and looks attractive even today.

The twelve first boats of the Misil I were made entirely of mahogany, including the hull. Soon there was a GRP hull with GRP deck available, but the superstructure has always been mahogany.

Join The Hallberg-Rassy Rally where everyone is a winner 12-13 June 2026

Star Chef David Lundqvist was named Chef of the Year in Sweden in 2018 and has cooked at a number of restaurants with star in Guide Michelin, including Sjömagasinet in Gothenburg and Operakällaren in Stockholm. David will be responsible for the food at the “Hallberg-Rassy Rally where everyone is a winner” in Ellös on 12-13 June 2026.

This means a dinner on Friday, included in the entry fee: West Coast buffet with gravlax, mustard sauce, seafood cake, egg halves with rockfish mousse, poached salmon with herb cream and pickled mustard seeds, smoked mussels with parsley and lemon, green salad with tomato, cucumber, virgin mix - vinaigrette aparte, focaccia with whipped butter, new potatoes and fish soup ”boja” style with croutons and soup greens, coffee and dessert in the form of chocolate mousse with coconut, browned butter and queen’s cream.

On Saturday there will be dinner again, also included in the entry fee: Whole roasted beef tenderloin - pepper-fried tenderstrip, creamy pepper sauce, roasted potatoes with herbs and aged cheese, parsley, green salad with tomato, cucumber, virgin mix - vinaigrette aparte, focaccia with whipped butter, coffee and dessert in the form of a summer tiramisu with lime, mint and strawberries.

”Expectations exceeded. Speed, pointing ability and grip surpass everything the boatyard has built. The new and great thing about the 40C is that the boat moves well without bumps in breaking seas. As someone who is picky about steering feel, I was pleased with the contact in the 40C. The steering glides easily, I could feel the boat’s movements in the steering wheel. Interior-wise, it is difficult to understand that the Hallberg-Rassy 40C is a 40-footer. Elbow space, volume and the layout make you think the boat is larger. The boat offers sparkling sailing, magnificent volume, well-thought-out layout, the best galley, excellent finish and the ingenious system called ”PushButtonSailing.”

Hallberg-Rassy Marinplast AB är ett båtvarv lokaliserat på den bohuslänska graniten i Kungshamn. Vi tillverkar båtskrov till Hallberg-Rassy Varvs AB på Ellös.

Produktionen består av att laminera skrov, däck, bottenstockar samt roder till vår interna monteringsavdelning. Komponenterna slutmonteras och leveranssäkras. Vi på Hallberg-Rassy Marinplast AB behöver ytterligare förstärka vår bemanning i produktionen.

Vi söker dels Dig som har erfarenhet och yrkesvana av att bygga båtar. Men också yngre förmågor med rätt inställning och praktiskt handlag från liknande jobb och intresse för vår produktion. Din personlighet präglas av ordning och reda med god förmåga att arbeta självständigt så väl som i grupp.
